Nerfs made the game worse again just imo

Poll agree or not agree?

I was somewhat okay with paladin before the nerfs, getting used to em at least, warrior was my big deal and still is to me bit at least they nerfed warrior.

My issue is with the tier one deck prenerf that had its worse matches nerfed.

Like what is the thinking behind lets nerf the two decks that are a problem for this tier one deck. It was already tier one!!!

We now do have tje perfect rps meta again.

Wheel warlock crushes control warrior, comtrol warrior beats DH if ya play odyn control still, and DH crushes wheel warlock

People i talk to, ranks 200 to 300, all have positive winrates as DH vs Warriors, which is also confirmed by metastats

I dont believe the true counter exists for this deck yet

The data I was looking at, from Firestone, really had Shopper DH looking like it was Tier 2, not Tier 1. I guess that’s a bit of a subtle difference, and since the VS Report (which did come out despite the nerfs) does show that this was off.

That said, although I would have to call it a mistake, missing Shopper DH is what I would type as a very understandable mistake.

Honestly bring back Paladin!
From now on I will always be on that side. Anything that isn’t Paladin is always insufferable it seems. And now we have to wait for weeks for the meta to fix itself.

They could have done a better job with the buffs.
That would allow some experimentation rather than the second best deck taking over the first best deck.

All they had to do was watch streamers for 15 min each to see whats coming

Prenerf reports only have 2 days of the DH meta beginning, overshadowed by 10 days of paladin and warrior domination

The nerfs were both too late and too early at the same time.

They have to do balance patches more often when they drop a new expansion, especially the first one in each rotation.

LoL has hotfixes the same day the patch comes

I didn’t understand the cross stitch change at all.
Did it even accomplish anything?

No, it was meant to give the illusion of accomplishing something.

DH is just so good. Wasn’t I saying they were good like the second day of the expansion and wondering why I was the only one Mentioning it and everyone just said it was just a Is high roll deck.

Now look at us.

Honestly I was fine with Warrior and Paladin. Plague Demon Hunter is a real issues. We need cleaner to negate trash being shuffled into our decks

Streamer opinion already has far too much influence on decision making.

What we think should be bears no influence on how things work in practice, so might as well adjust

Streamers don’t play D4-1, they’re obsessed with a meta that most players never experience. At best, they’re experts on a subject that has only indirect relevance to the balance that matters. At worst they are puppets of the salty, ignorant non-players that comprise Twitch chat (no one should listen to Zeddy ever)

With all respect.

You’re wrong.

You not even understand what is good RN.

Shopper DH is in fact powerful but the other options are really meh.

How? In what world? Just watch the deck play out in enough games (like 5 or so) and you quickly realize the entire deck is built around one combo that requires exactly one card: the weapon. And it’s extremely effective.

It’s probably the least reasonable deck to miss in… Forever.

Agreed. I would of been happy if they nuked DH and Hunter and that’s it. And the reason for this is because both these decks try to win the game by t3, which is extremely unhealthy, especially if you want space for other decks to compete.

As strong as pally was it likely didn’t kill you until t8, so you had time to do something, and not just get blown out of the water t3.

Going after the shopper is an extreme way to nerf the deck. Increase the cost of the weapon throws off the entire synergy of the deck that you are looking for in those first three turns. If they have to play it on 4 instead it’s breaking on 5 and more realistic power play at the level.

As is, this 1-card combo (typically chain starting from weapon-tutor @ t2) is getting to the point where its closing out games on t3.

I recall playing against one DH as a mage, and froze face every turn, they got the weapon off regardless.

The weapon should be a 1/3 imo, or 2/3 if you really want to give them a nice nerf.

I’d rather lose to Shop DH than another Paladin Windfury OTK.

Uh add a durability to slow it down AND lower it’s damage. That would basically kill the deck and allow control/combo even more breathing room. We also have just seen this happen and the way this meta has been evolving since release there could be decks out there that compete against it better than Warrior and DK currently are.

Yeah I’m also against killing decks like that, especially this early in the meta

I have overreacted yesterday, and it wasn’t my first time. I still think the deck needs some nerfs, because I have never in my HS career had a matchup as bad as this one (25% win rate) and I don’t think any deck should counter any other deck this much, but it definitely leaves more space for counterplay than I previously thought.

We just need some time and luck to find it (and learn it) and hopefully, return those DH abusers from top 100 legend back to dumpster legend where they belong.
