before shaman had to work hard and have to have luck opponent not having board clear. now? you play 2 board clears and he still has a full hand of murlocs. so if he can create that much resources that you said he should not be able to. nerf either card generation. or make bloodlust and everyfin is awesome less ponishing for opponents. alsaw now when facing hunter you have to play around unleash the hounds zephyris + bloodlust.
bloodlust should be changed to like 8 mana and giving 4 attack and rush.
everyfin is awesome should be moved to 10 mana.
or make underbelly angler 4 mana with improved stats. in gvg you printed 4 2/5 that draws you card when murloc dies and that was fair card.
Shaman had to work hard⦠before Genn. Even Shaman has literally been a top-5ish deck since Genn was released. And right now Even Shaman is probably still better than Murloc Shaman, it was at the end of RoS according to both Tempostorm and Vs. From someone who play A LOT of Shaman and took both in Wild to Legend⦠I agree. Murloc Shaman can wtf own games better but Even Shaman is just a deck that wonāt get knocked down by anyone.
Bloodlust is already argiuably worse than Savage Roar, you just killed the card GG
Just to show the math at 3 minions Bloodlust and SR break even (both are +9 damage for 5-mana w/ Druid hero power). Also, I personally donāt run Bloodlust in my build as I find Everyfin to be good enough and would rathe rnoth have a potential dead card.
This is literally the first time Everyfin has been playable so letās not nerf it to hell. I donāt think it needs to be touched as Wild has a ton of board clear. Maybe +1 just to delay it from highrolling turn 4.
Weāve never seen this before, although I think it would make sense for cards. More than likely a 2/2 for 2-mana would be the nerf but⦠Iām not sure if Murloc Shaman in Standard is going to survive and Murloc Shaman isnāt the best nor most problematic deck in Wild. Most problematic has A LOT more contenders right now such as:
Big Priest
Concede Druid
Shudderwock Shaman OTK
Quest Mage
Those are probably the four big ones that might need to be looked at. The quest is allowing me to do some broken stuff with Shudderwock right now and Plague of Murlocs and EQ are amazing in Wild for Control.
⦠and never saw play, I run 1-of in my Murloc Shaman personally but Angler is the first thing to make Murloc Shaman actually viable beyond a quick stint of āWater Shamanā before Rogue kind of did the same thing but better.
Angler should not be able to pull an angler. Thatās utter BS. I can see the pally one pulling it, but angeler should not be able to pull itself. Iāve seen it at least 30 times in wild and in that 30 theyāve gotten more than one occasionally.
I would heavily miss those memes of zero mana discover into discover into ⦠vids on Trolden. Apart from that, it might be something to be discussed by the final design team.
Cora, do you copy?
You CAN tech Hungry Crabs against a Murloc infested ladder; 1 Mana 1/2 is also not too bad for Tempo, similarly to Ooze;
you have to tech specific āgive opponent somethingā garbage to mess up the degenerate Big Priests. If anything needs a chec- NO, not CHECKS, ACTIONS, thatās Big Priest.
Underbelly Angler is maybe the worst balanced card of his entire set. Why does he cost 2 mana with that effect combined with those stats (I mean that theyāre 2/3 which makes him much more likely to survive).
The card reminds me of Tunnletrog way too hard in that a low mana card baits everything your opponent got or itās instantly game over.
