Nerf snip snap warlock in wild

Why does this combination still work?
Almost all players who play in legend use this deck. Top 1 legend , top 2 , top 3 , top 4
This deck isn’t fair.

Because wild metagame is slow and after Barnes nerf wild metagame started to change.

Actually it Should far before the nerf but people are just stubborn about their opinions and did still play a deck that wasn’t that good for YEARS thanks to it.

If I think I correct there still atleast one or two decks to be discovered and it will take atleast until the end of the year before we get a real form of wild.

But by that time we gonna also have a new exp that could make stuff even more wild.

So I guess that wild not need any changes.

It’s pretty BS ain’t it?

Plenty of unfair trash can be found in wild. It’s not fair to start the game with an advantage over your opponent because of Baku an Genn.

Its not fair to get Voidlords an Mal’ganis off a Voidcaller on turn 4. Devolve isn’t fair. The power of Secret Mage isnt fair. The possibility of all the aggro mech decks arnt fair. Stuff like Vargoth isn’t fair.

I have no doubt in my mind, if you play wild, especially at a high rank. You didn’t get there without playing some form of bullsht yourself.

Going to HIGHLY doubt that claim. If I look at most played deck from r5 - L in HSR over the past 7 days Sn1p-Sn4p Warlock is:

6th most played deck behind:

  • Mech Handbuff Paladin
  • 2x Secret Mage decks
  • Mech Hunter
  • Another Secret Mage variant
    - Sn1p-Sn4p Warlock

(for those curious, next ones are Cubelock, Even Shaman, Jade Druid sprinkled around some more Secret Mages and Handbuff Mech Paladins)

Hey! I mean… yeah… yeah…
=p

More than likely, the next nerf to roll out is going to affect Galvanizer and Mechwarper. More than likely, their cost reductions are going to make it so Mech’s can’t cost less than 1 mana. That would take care of the stupid animation canceling program so there is no reason to use it other than to cheat out Snip Snap infinitely.

Kabal Crystal Runner, Kabal Lackey, Kirin Tor Mage and Ancient Mysteries will all be targeted as well. More than likely, Kabal Crystal Runner will instead cost (1) less for each Secret you play, and Ancient Mysteries, Kabal Lackey and Kirin Tor Mage will all be changed so that the Secrets cost (1) instead of (0).

To be fair always decks appears at wild they go to stupid high spikes and the meta adjusts slowly(really slow).

The wild meta just not works like standard and it is actually moving and people still playing ton of other stuff.

This is generally true, but it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Legacy formats are going to be like that. The point isn’t to have something close to the power level of Standard, but with more cards; it’s to have a vibrant, diverse format, while accepting that the power level will necessarily be greater than in Standard.

MtG has legacy formats that they pay at least some attention to, and they are crazy powerful, but at many times heavily diverse and fun. (I’ll ignore the barrier to entry for now.)

The metrics used to determine format health are largely the same. For example, Big Priest wasn’t a problem in terms of win rate, but it was demonstrably a problem in terms of warping the format and greatly reducing player agency (as measured by its observed win rate when it did/didn’t get a certain hard-mulliganed-for card by turn 4). Now that it’s gone (reduced), Reno/other control decks may see a bit of a comeback.

I don’t yet know what to think about Secret Mage, but it looks bad. When a deck has a traditional weakness to flooding or aggressive decks like Odd Rogue, and then it starts steamrolling them without impacting other matchups, things look bad.

But I’m not at all convinced SN1P-SN4P Warlock is a problem.

Hearthstone designers have a long list of problem or nerfed cards they made when they cost 0. Molten Giant. Corridor Creeper. Sn1p Sn4p (mutate and mogu are somewhat carrying shaman) ect. You can even start to see that any card can become an issue at 0 if there are enuf of them. Take Wisp for example. Nobody thinks this card is an issue and its not. But what if there were 10 versions of it and you could run 20 wisps. There could be some scenarios that is a problem.
