Nerf one class to have it done in another

So basically ya nerfed one class in rogue with gasligjt giant nerf just to have it still done in another class (warlock), this is consistently done on four in warlock now and sometimes three.

Love it, just love it!

The dev team’s bias for Warlock / Rogue / Paladin / Priest / Warrior / Demon Hunter / Hunter / Shaman / Death Knight / Mage / Druid never ceases to amaze!

I know it was sarcasm but you probably could have removed priest. As they actually seem to have an anti-priest bias (or players do and they are following that).

Eh, they literally just gave priest a location that says “your opponent can’t play powerful minion effects without giving you a 1 Mana copy”

Priest gets crazy good cards. Blizz just hesitates to give them finishers. Whenever they get good ones like Zarimi the class performs very well.

That’s kinda my entire point. I didn’t say they didn’t get good cards, I was saying that there seems to be a real anti-priest bias, in that they don’t get to do things other classes get to do. Which is what the OP was alleging they did to rogue.

Edit:
Tho I’ll concede it doesn’t have to be bias and could just be they don’t know how to make the class work.

After the rogue location was originally made to summon free 15/15 stealth ghosts along with a legend that made like 15/3 weapons at the same time by like, turn 5… It’s tough to take rogue hate complaints seriously.

Sure, the class gets some bad sets here and there, but there’s hardly any rogue bias going on.

I imagine painlock is going to be hit pretty hard by nerfs (mountain giant back to 25 cost would be a good start). Turn 4 giants mixed with other tempo usually isn’t allowed to stick around for long because you don’t want to live in the world where removals are power crept to deal with that.

I think for priest, they just go for the class history of obnoxious value cards above all else and that uses up all of their set space.

Oh yeah. I definitely agree there is no anti-rogue bias. I literally think it is just priest* and maybe mage that get “special” treatment. And the latter isn’t really bias, it’s just that the class gets so popular when it is good something often has to be done about it for the overall health of the meta. For priest I think it’s just a longstanding hatred for the class among the player base ( I’ve never understood it, but I have experienced it, and it is fairly widely commented upon).

*I’m not a big priest player, so it’s not like I have dog in this fight.

I never played Time Warp Mage and now because of a toxic vocal minority I will never be able to. I’d say that’s unhealthy for the game.

I think mage mostly gets burned by blizzard trying to be creative with it and giving it win conditions that can’t be allowed to be tier 1 without basically ruining the game because of how uninteractive they are (looking at you, Sif).

If we were playing a game that had targetable counters and the ability to kill opponent minions during their turn, I don’t think that mage would have eaten many nerfs in hearthstone’s history.

Priest has just largely lacked win cons, and their control decks usually have relied on OTKs not existing and then having something that infinitely feeds them cards to play.

When blizz gave priest a strong win con (gallery priest era) it was awful for everyone.

I notice you listed Druid last. Come on we all know Druid had a leg up for years.

You save the best for last, you know!
