Nerf Mech Mage, The Deck Is OP

From turn 1 to 10 all mechs are insanely undercosted for the effect and sinergy.

Or at very least give us some tech card able to completely break the spine of the deck.

Just kidding about the nerf but I have the impression they pushed too far in this one, we see in a few days.

Not really - Turtle Rogue was called OP and swiftly nerfed even before release.

That is true, you need time travel to beat a record like this.

For mages to be complained about post release it is the fastest I recall.

The rogue was basically a beta change, lol.

Can’t wait for other aggro decks being called OP.

“Same procedure as EVERY year, James.”

Real talk I can see complaints about both mech Mage and Paladin coming in pretty fast and hot.
They both have lots of ways to discover mechs and because how limited the pool is, it’s kind of “all killer no filler” for them if you know what I mean.
Kind of like what happened to Lunacy Mage actually.

Yes, for now is a joke post just for fun but the deck really have the potential to make waves of topics crying for nerfs if nothing counter them really hard very soon.

Oh no Mage has a minion deck that plays for board and doesnt kill you from in hand , isnt this what people were asking???
Or maybe anything Mage that can win isnt allowed , all past bs reasons to nerf the class now come to light.

Enjoy mechs hitting you in the face.

I mean is mech mage really playing for board when it can play 3 or more mech sharks in one turn to deal like 10 face damage

Laughs in Azsharan

I will be on the most head stomping soul crushing OP bandwagon until it’s nerfed.

Tired of avoiding FOTM OP decks because I have self respect…

Not this time :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously. Mage can’t win. Even when it wins it loses and even when it’s losing, it’s winning…

The deck feels good, but also its day one and people are playing hyper greed with limited removal, the stuff aggro destroys, so eh give it a bit more time.

I played against a quest hunter and trying to have anything stick feels impossible, so the deck has counters.

This. Also, they were bringing back a beloved archetype (by most anyway) that had some pretty dominant showings in the theorycrafting stream. Add to the fact that Mage is a popular class to begin with, and you know there’s going to be a lot of Day 1 Mech Mage.

From expansion theme perspective, mechs make any sense?

Is not suppose to be about sea, pirates and marine creatures?

I mean, how do you expect people to explore under the sea. Just jump in and learn how to breathe underwater?

I distinctly remember the ending of the Little Mermaid had Ariel and Prince Eric form Voltron to defeat the Kaiju Ursula.
That was likely their inspiration for the Mechs.

What did I tell ya, and other players wonder why I said nothing ever changes elsewhere.

I see you didn’t read that the thread was made just to spite you
