Nerf Discard Warlock already!

Because I have seen enough new posters, like you, trying to stamp their authority on these forum before you even began playing the game. Sorry, you have to earn my respect before I will be civil towards you if you do that (Mal is the perfect example of this! - we argue all the time, but he has my respect even though I disagree with 80% of what he says).

Nope, I am the “CEO”, not a developer. Thats for the peons to do.

Sir, a question if I may. Would it be too much to have match-making per expansion? I would find it neat.

Explain your request in detail.

As I read it, the answer is no, not gonna happen. Classic failed, and that appears to be what you are suggesting, just on a larger scale.

I would be happy to see match-making that limits decks to either:

  • one expansion.
  • the 2 year period that expansion was in.

This will appeal to people with fond memories of the time that they played it.

How long have you been playing again?

You are still a newbie, from memory. You think yo want to be waiting for 10 minutes just to find an opponent, but you dont. The novelty will wear off very quickly, young Padawan. Just like it did with Classic.

I played in beta, but I quit, and just recently rejoined.

As for the 10 minute queue, I could just turn the volume up, and do other things whilst waiting.

You say that, but clearly you havent actually experienced it. Many top end wild players have actually stopped playing competitively for exactly that reason.

I’ve seen systems where the player can queue up for multiple things at once.

Not in HS you havent. Not on the same region with the same account anyway.

Would it be possible?

Also, do you think that allowing different ‘Standard (2 year limit)’ decks to vs. each other be a nice compromise? For better queue times.

You made the claim that it was, so you tell me.

No, there is no need for compromise. Standard and wild are the only constructed formats the game can support, and they are fine as is.

World of Warcraft has implemented multiple queues.

Wild gets complaints that people take advantage of cards that were never intended to be played together, and Standard will sadly keep changing.
