Hi, I heard about this nature shaman deck in standard (I don’t play standard but figured I’d try it a bit) and I made the deck minus a few cards which I simply replaced.
Anyway, so I try it out and I go against this Dragon Druid but the thing is, the game ended on turn 4 because of idk, I guess that is just what Nature Shaman does or can do.
So I try it out a few more times and no turn 4, but turn 5 yes, turn 6 yes, really didn’t matter if they had taunt or lifesteal or thought they could stabilize, it didn’t matter.
So I am no expert but the one card that seemed the strongest was this 0 mana deal 4 damage to all enemies card called Crash of Thunder. Especially when you discover it from the nature reflex card too, it is quite ridiculous. I guess the deck got nerfed with the Thrall gift, but it still seems like a pretty stupid/degenerate deck. After those games, I deleted the deck and went back to Wild where things are more balanced.
By turn 4, I drew my entire deck, regained 40 mana, and dealt 40 damage to my opponent as a Druid in wild, just today. Nature Shaman wishes it could emulate any combo related wild deck.
I need not go into detail. This is most obviously false.
Then you need to quote better, lol. But that’s okay. If you believe wild is less balanced than standard, that’s fine, you are entitled to your opinion.
Most of the quote was literally “After those games, I deleted the deck and went back to Wild” which is 100% true. But I gotta be done wasting my time practicing semantics with you. Sorry
I guess also one of the cards that enabled the whole thing are Flash of Lightning and Nature Reflexes (because of how it works with Flash of Lightning and Call of Thunder). I was also surprised they added such a spell as 1 mana (or 0) deal 2 damage the frog book or whatever. Combined with all the other damages, and spell damages, it seems pretty strange it wasn’t deal 2 damage to a minion summon 2 frogs, but instead they made it 2 damage to anything.
My initial comment here perfectly illustrates the state of balance in wild.
The mode is essentially a poor joke. Those who defend it are typically players who aren’t focused on climbing ranks and believe that their experience in lower ranks accurately reflects the competitiveness of high-level wild play.
The mode lacks balance entirely. Attempting to refute that while simultaneously asserting it’s “more balanced than standard” is quite amusing.
I don’t have the emotional capacity you do to care prolonging this conversation.
If believing that wild is more balanced helps you sleep better at night, then by all means, continue.
However, regarding people reading here… it’s simply not the case. There’s no need to spread misinformation; it’s best to keep it to yourself.
