I just became a happy owner of a MacBook pro with m4 pro, and what was my surprise when it turned out that Blizzard for so many years did not deign to make a native application for apple chips.
The best thing is that they wouldn’t have to rewrite the code much at all because there is a version for iPhones and it’s the same processor architecture. This shows a complete lack of respect for their customers. So me and my son have to look for another card game. Pity.

I’ve been hoping for a native version for years. Apple has a growing marketshare, and as you mentioned, with native iOS versions existing, it strikes me as odd to not introduce more ARM software. Emulation is never as good.
I’d like to add another voice here to second the request for native Apple Silicon support. The game runs great on Rosetta 2 and I love playing it on my Mac. However, support for Rosetta 2 is ending next year in macOS 27 as it will have been 6 years since the transition from Intel began.
This concerns me greatly because I enjoy playing the game on my Mac and don’t want to see it get discontinued. Hopefully the iPhone and iPad versions help speed up the development time for a native Apple Silicon version ![]()
