Did hunters ever actually play this card hard way or was it created for the sole purpose of being the most annoying card a Mage can get from DoL ?
Just now my opponent drew dead , less than 3 cards in his hand and I’m controlling the board then boom.
Nagrand Slam on t7 and all my control and chip damage out the Flippin window as I don’t have an answer for a field clear + 12 dmg next turn

Still more playable than a 4 mana weapon with poison

If NS cleared your board you really didn’t have the board control you claimed.
TBH there is a bit of an obscure archetype right now that runs it with Primordial Protector, also with a variant that tries to use Guardian Animals Yes, that’s Guardian Animals in Hunter. At the start of the expansion it was even somewhat viable, now it would probably roll over and die to Doomhammer.
