I bet that if ya got rid of Sif, odyn, brnr, boogie down, sunstone and draka, curses warlocks excavate reward, death knights plagues, druids dragon golem and that one card that buffs +2/4 or gives 5 treats that you would have a way better and not vanilla meta.
I probably missed some stuff, but some stuff needs to be toned done or deleted from game. Shaman I missed Highlander shaman, but I don’t know what to do there.

That was basically my take away, too. They seem to want to play something else, which I support them doing if they do not like this game anymore.
Every card would be replaced with another card that is slightly less powerful than the previous and the same thing would happen all over.

The single most dangerous kind of stupid is the belief that all we have to do is destroy that which is, and then after we smash it into nothing, good things will magically spring into existence to replace them, without any planning or consideration whatsoever.
You forget removing all the cards that cost more than 1 mana are not minions and have stats above 1/1 and then you will have your wisp meta that may be better for you but it won’t be something that people will want to play beyond the first 5 minutes of its existence.
Some people really can’t grasp what balance in this kind of game is. Just bumping every single key/power card in decks will not make things change for the better as they will just be replaced by something else.
Adjusting the power on the cards is what you want, not just straight up deletion. And messing with the mana isn’t always the answer. It can be some times, but at the end of the day, the TEXT OF THE CARD is where the power is. Remember Theo? They put him at 6 mana. People still played him, tho, but when they adjusted THE TEXT of what he was used to counter most of the time, Big Daddy D, not so much anymore did we see him.
We could actually use more cards like Theo right now

It’s a good chance to call out blizzard on the oversimplistic design of hearthstone and tell they to put the same effort they put in cards like reverberations in most cards in the game.
In other momments if you point that exact thing about hearthstone you would just be called a hater.
If he puts astalor ,Sargeras ,dragon golem and the entire pure paladin archtype specific cards he can count me in.
This is the nature of such card games. Unless there’s a complete change in the fundamentals, conventional balancing just won’t work.
That said, I was thinking if card games are dynamically balanced by smart AI simulations, optimizations can be achieved. But whether this outcome helps the human player base remains questionable.
AI can’t really measure fun.
And never will because it’s too subjective so there is no real mectric for it.
This meta for example:
Paladin’s aside most things are kinda balanced.
The problem is that most decks could probably be played by a pigeon. So it can’t get fun for most people because it don’t challenge the players enough.
But they want the game dumbed down and braindead. How else are they goong to keep the 12 year old kids playing and using their parents credit card ?
