Just curious what you all are enjoying. I am not asking which decks are most powerful, but what are you enjoying.
I’ve played a bunch of different archetypes (most success with buff Pally), but the one that I’m having the most fun with is Quest Warrior. It’s a blast.

Currently I am playing “solitaire” quest mage and “solitaire” quest warlock…
I’m toying with a Chandler Ignite deck. It isn’t doing well but it’s a lot of fun when it goes off.
Quest warrior really is a lot of fun. I don’t think its going to be competitive however, Oddly enough i feel as if there needs to be 2-4 more pirates in the deck. If you hit the tutor then it feels good, if not then it feels slow.

I find myself wanting to put bad pirates in because they’re cheap and can fill out a curve.

I resorted to all the Pirates. Even Amalgams. And the major downside, is even if ytou do complete it, its not an end all be all quest like Mage or Warlock. Which means you have to run enough stuff post quest to finish it out. Hitting Gorehowl does feel good though.
Almost feel as if the Juggernaut should give you 2 armor additionally. Its early though, just my first impressions.

The only deck I’ve enjoyed so far is quest warrior. It feels like the only deck that can somewhat compete without just being over tuned combo decks or extreme aggro. Granted, I was only able to craft that one, the Rogue one, and I opened the hunter quest so those are the only three decks I’ve actually been able to try myself and pirate warrior has always been one of my favorite archetypes so I’m kind of biased. I also tried making deathrattle rogue which was pretty fun, getting Infiltrator Lillian off of the 3 mana deathrattle spell is pretty funny, but the weapon is incredibly bad and it lacks a fast, game-winning condition which apparently is required in this meta.

I feel like the quest is relatively fast even without the tutor pirate, I’m running 16 pirates in my deck so I don’t know if you’re deck is drastically different or something. I also found that running the tradeable card that gives you 8 armor really opens up your flexibility, as you can armor against hunter and mage, and can trade against priest and warlock. I do agree though that the juggernaut is kind of underwhelming. Although it’s infinite value, the damage rarely matters by the time it’s played, and the low-rolls are way too common. Your idea would be cool and maybe if they made it so that you summon a pirate and a weapon that cost three or more, so you won’t just be equipping the baton and getting swashburglar over and over. I think the deck will get worse as the meta settles sadly, as it doesn’t seem like you can do much to optimize it while I’m sure mage and hunter players are already cooking up the super-optimized versions of their decks.

Funny enough, my favourite day one deck aswell was Quest Warrior. Made a whole bunch of decks to try and ended up just playing this one because I was enjoying it so much. My highlight was winning a big grindy match against a big demon handlock, the Juggernaut is not to be trifled with, Rattlegore certainly helped aswell.

Shadow Priest is the deck im running right now , i missed the archtype so much and im having alot of fun playing it.
Been enjoying Quest Solitaire Warlock, Quest and Shadow Priest, I tried a Big Warrior and OTK Quest DH I wanna keep working on…been a fan of the expansion so far. Anybody got some risky, sleeper predictions for best decks we haven’t explored enough/refined fully yet?
Started messing around with Quest Druid. Another fun deck. I like armor apparently.
Reno Handbuff Paladin shill here.
Really fun deck. But it sometimes feels really bad.
Because bursting down an Amara Priest from 40 straight to zero with a few, buffed cards is dirty.
Does well vs Odd Hunter, quest and regular, too.
Weird deck. But I like my creation. More consistent than I initially thought.

I’m really enjoying Quest Warlock in Wild. I don’t go for fatigue but shenanigans with Unlicensed Apothecary.
Handlock got some great tools this expansion, but after the OTK decks and weirdly Quest Warrior took over ladder, I haven’t been able to win much with it.

U have to post your deck. Shadow priest is still unknown how it should look like, so i am curious about every deck that had some success.
I grabbed the ‘daddy hunter’ deck and didn’t realize it’s an aggro deck. I’m not really an aggro player but I’ve gone 11-0 with it so far and I’m just amazed to be winning like that for once lol. Having fun with it but probably will just be something I play around with for a couple days.

Use this version and have fun most people i see running Shadow Priest are making a big mistake trying a slower version that gets blown up by everything.
This version wins the race Mages have no chance against it as well ,combo Voidtouch with Psyfiend and sit back and watch thing just die.
Quest warrior is fun. The major problem is that you’ll never win a game with it unless you’re playing against a meme deck.
- Unlike the other quests the rewards have no synergy. You’ll have to muddle along with mediocre minions just to finish it off.
- The Juggernaut is fun but is totally random so it isn’t going to close out a game so you’ll never beat decks that are tuned to a specific game plan.
- Once you’re done you still have a deck full of mediocre minions.
It needs either a) a massive overhaul, b) a massive buff to the Juggernaut, or c) a much better pool of pirates. Heck, just giving Rokara rush (like she has in her pre-quest form) would be a major help. a lot of the time you just can’t afford to play a 5-mana do nothing.
I’m playing it right now because I want to hit the next tier of gold cards for warrior and complete one of the achievements. I’m unhappy with the results.
No fun allowed in new meta.
