I am just looking for a deck that is very straightforward to play, when drinking beer and just wanting to keep busy. Bit like the old pirate warrior I guess.
What would be the deck forward? Or do we not have those kind of decks anymore?

According to the most recent VS podcast, Pirate Warrior is still the least skill-intensive deck in Standard, followed by Mech Mage.
So, those are probably your two best options.
I’d guess Mech Mage is probably a bit better if you care about wins while just keeping busy.
Not all “skillful” decks require skill to win with. A good example of this is a Curse Warlock player that doesn’t wait for any combo and continually drops Abyssal Curses one at a time, without counting the damage ticks… I’ve lost at least once to that playstyle. I was not proud in that moment.
Prestor Druid. Play Prestor then turn off your brain and let RNGesus take over.
Definitely takes more decision making than Quest Warrior, though.
Beast hunter or Pirate warrior.

Wild Big Priest.
But I warn you, the Big Priest crowd isn’t very accepting of beer.
You will have to switch to Wine and Cognac.
