More Optimized? Pandaren Import OTK Rogue

I couldn’t find videos of the Pandaren OTK from Theorycrafting Streams so I tried making it in the deckbuilder to see if it’s viable.

From what I read people are Shadowstepping a 3rd minion?, but you should only need Brann and Pandaren. A 3rd minion probably slows down how fast you can assemble the Combo by a lot.

Maybe the reason people used Battlecry Minions instead is Animations? I’m not sure which is faster apmwise. With Penflinger you could sort of animation cancel, so maybe that is why people used the 3rd minion? But, with Wicked Stab you do 4x damage per hit instead of 2.

You can play the Infinite Damage OTK as early as turn 5 for 5 mana:

  1. Play Brann Bronzebeard.
    Loop Until Opponent Dies[
  2. Play Pandaren Importer and pick 1 Shadowstep and 1 Wicked Stab.
  3. Play Pandaren Importer and pick 1 Shadowstep and 1 Preperation.
  4. Play Preperation and Wicked Stab.

No, as early as Turn 3. On turn 2 you can Shadowstep the Importer without Brann.

Congratulations on figuring out Freebooter isn’t necessary.

One potential problem for this version without Freebooter is that it requires a higher APM to reach lethal damage.

The Freebooter version requires playing 2 minions, choosing 2 Discovers and playing 2 spells for each 4 damage it does.

Your version requires playing 2 minions, 4 Discovers and 4 spells to do 2 damage (if it’s still turn 4 or earlier) or 4 damage (from turn 5 to 9).

Those additional Discovers in particular, especially with the animations, are really going to slow things down.

Is a deck full of random spells and 2 key minions good enough to survive till the combo is ready?

If a 2-Minion version would work apmwise, I’m guessing it will be like Kazakusan Druid.

Getting stomped on by Aggro because the decks defense is trash. Stomping on all the slow decks.

Pandaren is in the process of being nerfed to a 3 mana 2/4.
