So once again like I reported last month, I hit legend…faced a couple real players and now its bots after every loss.
Once people hit legend they don’t want to grind the same deck 24/7, we want to have fun and Theorycraft a bit so naturally. We CANT WIN EVERY MATCH.
You cant MMR me vs a legend player and if I take 2 L’s its back to Blizz Generated Bots.
There is no wait times so its not a MMR thing…I just hit legend yesterday so its impossible to drop mmr after a couple losses from facing legend players to bots.
Bottom line once again your making the game BORING. GET RID OF THIS CRAP
Your killing all the fun involved in Hearthstone…and yes I know I don’t have to play but I want to and if this post can do any good for awareness I’d be appreciative.
So going 1 win 1 loss after hitting legend entitles people to play Blizzard generate bots? I have better win rates with Theorycrafted decks than some players have with the boring status quo decks I see all day so it makes no sense…the fact remains, why are we facing bots after playing legend players after 1 loss.
Honest question though…why would some one want to play a viable deck that they crafted in a non competitive field.
So you don’t lose rank while working out the kinks of your home brewed deck. The deck itself, your play style, your mulligans, your understanding of match ups, they all need work before they feel refined enough for wins.
There’s nothing wrong with jumping straight into ranked with a half baked idea of a deck but…
The ranked scene being competitive may discourage you from finishing your refining process due to losses. The bots are stupid and all, but they exist just for players like you who are averse to the idea of using casual to experiment.
First show me, where I am not accepting it lol. I know very well why the bots are there. I just find it funny they “target” a legend level player, since they are supposed to be available only at very low MMR.
Captain obvious to the rescue. You really didn’t get what the funny part is, did you? That someone in the legend rank has MMR so low he plays against bots.
Thats because Legend rank now means absolutely nothing. It doesnt mean you’re a good player, nor have good mmr.
Its a rank that has been made easier to obtain than ever. A consolation prize to mediocre players that bothered to play like 50 games this month.
Unrelated to that, bots are also an indication that theres nobody playing. An indicator that blizz thinks letting you play against a bot of their creation is better for you than having you wait for a few minutes to find another player.
Guys, regardless of rank…I face 0 bots while climbing from Diamond to Legend…not 1 bot ever. As soon as I hit legend I play fellow legends around the same rank…when I lose 2 (please note I said 2) I will than be forced to face a bot at times…almost as if its making me prove I am worthy to face other players again…as soon as I win vs the bot it allows me to play another player…I have a 65% win ratio with what I’m playing…how can you tell me that someone playing at a 65% capacity in standard would have the MMR match making algorithm to where they are deemed not worthy to face any player of any rank and that a bot is appropriate…this is a honest question…I’m not interested in the name calling or brown nosing blizzard like you owe them a defense counsel…honest question…This is all relatively new…they’ve implemented this as a “good idea” somehow.
MMR is a continuative value calculated in multiple months/years of play , rank and win rate can be small period.
At the release of the expansion this is more visible , people that rush full collection and find a good deck recipe usually rank to legend in a easy fast way ( the first wave of cards nerfs usually try to stop this overpowered decks ) and part of their good winrate is becouse other are experimenting new decks , doing achievement’s, legendary f2players that don’t buy multiple packs prefer to play low win-rate deck they are able to craft and stay back waiting for a stable meta to spend dust only on key cards …
I can empathize; we don’t play a multiplayer DCCG to face bots. Reaching legend is a feat for many players, and I’m unsure bots should be allowed there, really. I only want to ask: did you confirm these are Blizzard’s bots? I ask because I know that players these days can certainly use programs to reach and compete at legend. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these bots are in fact run by players.
