Mobile android tablet can't change region

With the latest update, the pop up menu to change region is gone!!!

I play on NA and EU, I tried uninstall and reinstall, the pop up to select region is still not there.

Please fix, Thank you

I posted about the same issue on iOS. Please help Blizz! Or acknowledge a fix is in the works

Same for me, pls fix!

I have to add the bug is on tablet, on Android phone you can change regions, but its a lot laggier there since patch.

Same here. This is one of those issues that impacts a small number of players. I don’t expect a fix anytime soon.

Can a blue at least post on one of these threads acknowledging this issue and that it’s being investigated? It’s a pretty game breaking bug in that we literally can’t access our accounts until fixed…

iPad Air 2 on the most recent version of iOS 13. Sounds like its not a device/OS specific issue though.

Hi, this is a workaround for Android (and presumably somewhere on ipad as well but I dont know how to do it on that device)

Using a file editor from the app store (I use QuickEdit):

  1. Go to internal storage > android > data > com.wwhatever.hearthstone > files
  2. edit options.txt
  3. change preferredregion=
    1 is americas
    2 is europe
    3 (or maybe 0) would be asia

save the file

log back in and you will be in that region

Not sure you can edit files like that on iOS, but appreciate the effort! Hopefully at least Android players can access their accounts this way

I have the same problem with changing regions on Apple iPad 2017 9,7". The Change Region button just disappeared.

This is obviously a global issue affecting all mobile applications, can you fix this asap please? I can’t switch account on neither Android tablet or chromebook
