Missing tons of cards!

Hello,

I am shocked and angered to find that I am missing tons of my wild cards! I am not sure when that happened but I noticed today when I went to edit one of my decks and noticed that I needed to craft a legendary card that I know I already own… I went and searched my wild collection using the “legendary” filter and discovered that I was missing MANY other older legendary cards that I know I own and have used in decks in the past. (I spent a good 15 minutes searching my collection, thinking surely I must be wrong and that I have these cards somewhere, but I’m not wrong.)

FYI, I am a mostly “wild” mode, mostly free-to-play player, although there have been times I have made purchases in the past. I have been playing since the beginning and I login nearly every day (for years) in order to complete quests.

I have discovered through reading that I am not the only player missing tons of cards from earlier expansions. I am going to begin looking to see if there are any existing class-action lawsuits, or if I should start one, of HS is unable to resolve this major issue with its product, which I have invested some money (and a LOT of time) into.

And please DON’T blame me by saying I may have “accidentally” disenchanted the cards, or let someone else use my account - I am very careful when I disenchant, and I don’t recall ever disenchanting a legendary card… And I have never shared my account or account info.

What will you do to fix this problem?

Can you name a few of the cards you are sure you should have but cannot find, and describe (in words or in video or screenshots) how you tried to find them?
There have been a lot of changes the last rotation that confused many players so I want to make sure there is no confusion at hand.

This is the bug report forum, intended to collect information about issues that Blizzard then can use to fix the root cause (“fix the roof”). Repairing affected accounts has always been and will always be the responsibility of customer support. If you feel you have enough evidence that you have unjustly lost value on your account, then you’ll need to open a support ticket (using the link in the top right of the screen).
Or you can first follow up on my question above to rule out possible misunderstandings.

I did open a support ticket for this. To find them, I went through my collection, filtering for expansion by expansion. (I know how to navigate HS; been using a computer for nearly 30 years.) Here is the info I provided:

Hey Cormack. I just came across this post. I was going through my cards today too as I was trying to make a deck and realized Raza and Northshire cleric were missing? So I searched same as you and found a TON of cards missing, mostly legendary/epic. Some rares and even commons.

Have you received any response yet or have a solution? Thanks and good luck!

A somewhat similar bug happened to me two days ago. While looking for a wild card (Ice block), I could only find one of my two copies. This copy was a regular one, the one missing a golden one. I then realised that for some reasons, I was missing in my collection golden copies of some wild cards, even when not filtering… I then used different filters (can’t remember which ones), and eventually could find it again after resetting these filters. Very weird. I also had a bug regarding dusting extra copies of classic cards, a bug report has been open on that topic too. Browsing and using the collection is a real mess right now…
