I opened a ticket regarding a missing pack and I was told to post here.
I opened the Arena reward, where I got some dust and a Pack. When I went back into the homescreen, there was no pack in the Open Packs screen. I tried relogging but this didn’t resolve the issue?
Was this from an arena run that was forcibly retired?
Or a normal run that reached 3 losses / 12 wins?
It was from a forcibly retired run
Arena run was forcibly retired at the release of RoS. Those kind of rewards automatically gets sent to your collection/‘open packs’ tab, not when you click on reward chest.

You should’ve gotten your reward when you logged in, dust and pack.
Thank you, out of interest, does the cards come up as ‘New’
or not? I can’t see if they have been added to collection or not (nothing ‘New’ in there).
Those cards should have showed as new when you opened the pack.
You probably opened the pack at the same time that you opened all the Rise of Shadows packs you had from pre-order, the free packs given around that time, and the packs you bought with gold.
Going to the arena screen and opening the boxes is just cosmetic. When an arena run is retired, the rewards are added to your account immediately.
In your case, this likely happened while you weren’t even logged on, so the pack would have been waiting to open the next time you logged in.
If you had additional packs waiting to open (perhaps from the RoS preorder bundle, or a Tavern Brawl), you might not have noticed the one extra pack.
It is confusing to go to the arena screen and open the boxes and end up getting nothing, but remember, you (should have) already received those rewards. In your case, opening the boxes was just a reminder.
If the card was new, it should. But arena rewards mostly are dust/gold/pack, so less likely you would’ve gotten a card (plus, you did say your reward was dust). You should’ve gotten a pack. Memory is faded now, but you should’ve had two packs at the release of RoS, one from TB, one from retired run (and +1 for event quest if you finished it).

When did you check your arena reward or packs you had at the release of RoS? I for one checked right after RoS was released (as I knew arena run would get retired and wanted to get rid of visual thing over). And I did have 2 packs waiting for me.
TB a week before RoS release had RoS pack as a reward. If you played that TB you should at least have 1 pack waiting (without pre-order and before you bought packs with gold). If you hadn’t played that TB, and didn’t have any pack(s) waiting at the release of RoS, yes, I would say you didn’t get your reward pack from retired arena run (so you should contact support). But if you did play it, I would say you’re mistaken about this whole thing. You should have packs waiting for you, but you mentioned as having none (which shouldn’t be the case). So it seems you checked your arena run way after RoS release and forgot you had an extra pack than you should’ve had. Again, opening arena chest reward is just a visual thing. Your reward was already given at the start of RoS.
