Missing exsiting card in my collecting

I’ve lost two cards(Darkbishop Benedictus and Shard of the Naaru) after the new expansion release.

Those 2 were core cards. The core cards were changed today.

Here are all the cards which left Standard today:

He’s saying he lost the cards, not that they have become core.

I also lost Alexstrasza the life binder.

The cards are completely gone from the collection, as if we never owned them.

It’s the same for me with Lord Marrowgar and several other cards (especially Death Knight Cards). They are missing from preconstructed decks and are not longer in my collection, even if I look at the “wild” section.

Are you 100% certain you owned the original expansion version of those cards?

Those cards were in the 2023 Core set.

Blizzard was loaning them to you.

But today they took back their loan, so you don’t have them anymore.

That’s the opposite.
The card was core and isn’t anymore.
Core set is just a set of cards that is accessible for free to all players, but you do not own these cards in your collection.
Core set will partially change each year and some cards will be removed and some other added.

You never owned them, that’s a fact. Alexstrasza the Life-Binder has never been obtainable before now.

Oh, that wasn’t clearly recognizable, when I got the decks. I think I should have read more patch notes before starting the game again after some time out.

Blizzard, whose idea is that?
Nearly nobody knows something like that.
I think a lot of players are now quitting the game because they do not understand that.

The smart guy that managed to replace the basic and classic sets that were mostly unusable cards.
plus the marketing team that authorized to grant all players acces to a whole “expansion” of cards for free (basic was free, classic was not)

My mistake - I got mixed up with the standard Alex - Which I did craft back in the day.

So far I’m missing the following cards: Zillax, Cheat Death, Plagiarize, Snap Freeze, Fiendish Circle, Solar Eclipse, and Amber Watcher. There are probably more. These are just the ones that were in decks before the patch.

Same issue for me, some cards disappeared from collection, it need to be crafted again
