Hello,
The Great Totem Eys’or has disappeared from my collection. I had it before, but it no longer appears… I’m being asked to craft it, where I had it before.
It seems that Patchwerk is also missing, Aegwynn, Sergeant Sally, arfus, *Mimiron’s Head, King Togwaggle and a few others… I don’t know why they disappeared. I’m not 100% sure about some of these, but I was playing with Grand Totem Eys’or a few days ago in wild mode with a totem deck. I had three cards with my tauren rocknroll, and they are no longer available.
I can send you HSreplay replay. The last game recorded with the totem deck with Grand Totem was 4 days ago.
Can you please tell me what happened and fix this?
Thanks for your help.
greetings

Those were all part of the 2023 Core set, which is a bunch of cards that Blizzard loans to everyone for free.
But earlier this week, Blizzard updated the Core set for 2024. Some cards were added, and some (such as the ones you listed) were removed.
At least you got to use them for free for a year.

Thanks answering. I’m pretty sure I’ve crafted some of them as the King Togwaggle before 2023 !
If you crafted King Togwaggle, then he should still be in your collection.
Togwaggle was not part of the 2023 Core set, so that does not explain why he is missing.
How did you notice he was missing? Is he missing from a deck?
I am also missing some of the cards I won when opening the new packs of this expansion, it seems that there was some problem in the game.
Have the same issue, details here: https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/case/detail/93756343
They respond to me:
- This is likely a bug with the newest patch. Please report this up on the forums for the development team.
Some of cards that are missing since last update:
I get the Hunter desk, called Titanic Traps. Now I have only 28/30 cards after last update. The cards are missed called “Cat Trick” and “Ysera the Dreamer”.
It is Wild desk now so I don’t get why I missed these cards that I own before.
Some of cards are missed too are “Heart Strike”, “Runeforging”, “Obliterate”, “Corrupted Ashbringer” for Death King,
“Alexstrasza the Life-Binder”, “Dr. Boom”, “Darkbishop Benedictus”, “The Black Knight” for the Priest,
“Dyn-o-matic”, “Armagedillo” for Warrior
and the other ones.
Also, for example, “Dr. Boom” is still available in Standard play.
Yes, those are both cards that were in the 2023 Core set but have been removed for 2024.
Do you not know how to check this for yourself?
why dont you stop trolling, and just give them the answer

Teach a man to fish, and all that.
Thats sus, can’t believe blizzard ate my malganus
So they just took cards out of my collection that ive had for longer than a year.
I spent hundreds of euros in this game, is there a competent technician to take care of my request like in any company that cares about its customers?
@shuteye : what you told them is wrong. It’s a bug most of the time. Just remove the cards and put them back… Some cards are in their collection, but when season changes they dispaear from the deck, but not from your collection. Then remove them from the deck and replace them…
If the card hasn’t disappeared at all…

All those cards konsterter listed were loaned as part of core 2023. The new loaner cards, core 2024, does not include them. There are other new core cards you can use for a year. If you want to play with the cards you listed you must craft them. That way they are in your collection permanently.

Yes, but only because those were cards that they loaned to you in the first place…

I noticed a bunch of rare cards missing after rotation, I am not even sure if I have accidentally disenchanted them when searching for extra copies as they “belong” to the core sets, such as Selective Breeder, Graveyard Shift, the most annoying being patchwerk(legendary) etc. Those golden cards earned from rewards track, I would disenchant the normal ones, to have more dust. Blizzard have made a post of this, but it feels bad that we players have to be very careful when crafting or disenchanting extra copies.
Missing Some Hearthstone Cards
I believe the Disenchant button warns you if you try to disenchant a card that you own only one or two copies of (and it does not count Core copies). Is that not the case?
Patchwerk is a special case , it was not part of any expansion , but directly joined core as core card only.
This prevented Patchwerk of being craftable or foundable in packs , and this confirms that who say he found it in pack or crafted it are saying something wrong.
Only the year change and his move to Legacy made it possible to be found in wild packs or to be crafted …

i want to improve my reply , so in the case of patchwerk they have 2 possibility , create only the core version , create both core and legacy version from start.
If you create only the core version , like they do , this prevent full collection player to open it in wild packs , so they don’ take advantage of duplicate protection , instead they will open a duplicate legendary , and when patchwerk go out of core , they miss it like what happened.
BUT
if from start they create both core and Legacy card , a lot of player will start to find it in wild packs when the card is “not needed” because already available in core.
It’s like opening a duplicate while other card are still missing.
And that’s just worst than the current situation , where ALL players will not found patchwerk in collection , and who play standard don’t care , but wild players need to craft it if they want it ( or get it opening packs ).
Same for me.
Some of these cards were crafted by hand, some of them are obtained from the packs, some of them were obtained via event (“Titanic Traps”), some of them already exists (“Cat Trick”) for years ago
