Logged in one day and saw a deck incomplete because I was missing Ysera and the onyxia that summons whelps every turn (and I’m sure I’m missing others that were converted to core that just weren’t in current decks) . Submitted a ticket and they confirmed that I should have these cards because they have been moved to score and I have met the requirements to “unlock” them again.
That Blizzard employee asked me to submit a ticket here for help. Please see below -
Issue ID: #104129141

Those cards were in the 2024 Core set, but were removed in the 2025 update earlier this month.
You did not own those cards – they were only on loan from Blizzard.
No, they were not moved to core, they were moved out of core.
I have no idea what “the car pack” is supposed to mean.
Sadly, I cannot really understand what that GM is trying to say. I don’t see how this “confirms” anything.
Ive owned ysera for years and had to spend dust to craft that particular onyxia.
Car pack was his typo, not mine, I just did what he asked me to do by posting here.
If so, then you must have (unknowingly) built decks that contained the core versions.
So just edit those decks and replace the missing Core versions with the original versions.
Now you’re starting to understand the problem. As the GM explained, those cards should be there but are not - and instead I just have the option to craft them again.
But why did they say that? What evidence did they have?
I do not believe GMs are able to look up your past history of card purchases or crafting, so how could they know you should have had them?
Sadly, I don’t think the GM knew what they were talking about, and just wanted to close the ticket.
Because apparently they can look it up and did confirm. Also you get a different GM each time you reply to the thread so it makes no sense that they’d want to close out the ticket as they’ll never see it again once they answer regardless of what they say.
It definitely does
When you’re part of a support team, you have dashboards indicating the current count of open tickets that are monitored by your hierarchy. Blizzard isn’t particularly known for its kind human ressources management, so it only makes sens that they’d want to close as much tickets as possible, redirecting a bunch of them to the forum because they can’t/don’t want to spend time investigating on them.
Think about it.
What makes the most sens, when you ARE part of the game masters, to communicate to the people in charge about a confirmed issue ?
- Transfer the existing bug report with documented user information and confirmed bug to the devs via an established internal communication process ?
Or
- Close said ticket, and ask you (a random user) to re-explain with aproximate details your issue on a public forum for the community manager to filter actual bugs from random reports, user’s misunderstanding, complaints and insults, in order to then communicate said bug, already acknowledged by administrators, to the devs ?
“I am missing a card that was part of the core set that rotated out but I swear I had this card before it was in core set and I didn’t disenchant it” is what we keep seeing every rotation. Note that we never see that coming from people aware of what the core set rotation is.
So the support just saw that same claim yet again and just answered “Yeah yeah, let’s tell it’s a bug, go report that on the forum, we can’t do anything for you”.
Fyi, the support is able to transfer packs and bundles bought on the incorrect server to the correct one, and they are able to replace packs you bought on the wrong expansion with the ones you actually wanted. If they acknowledged that there IS a bug and that you should have Ysera, they had the power to give you Ysera back.
Besides, as I only just noticed
Onyxia the Broodmother has been introduced by the core set and never left it until march 2025.
You never had the opportunity to craft that card before March 18th 2025
Smoking gun. Proof positive.
He definitely did NOT craft that card.
Case closed.
I wonder why the GM said he should have the cards, when clearly he could not. Hanlon’s razor, I suppose.
