Missing Cards from collections

I’m a returning player of more than 4 years and was advised to post in this section by blizzard customer support after submitting a ticket

From my blizzard account’s transaction history I’ve spent roughly $400 on classic packs alone and remember satisfyingly flicking through a completed, not grayed-out pages in the classic collection and having played and made decks around cards that have noticeably vanished from said collection

Although I do have a decent amount of dust laying around that was all accumulated from using the “disenchant for dust” feature that should only dust “triplicate” cards and I’m sure I never went out of my way to manually disenchant cards (even if I were to mess up, there was the undo feature)

I have also completed the demon hunter prologue as some others who have resolved a similar bug of missing cards suggested but that did not bring back my cards, I also did not forget to check the different categories of Wild or Standard sets on the bottom left of the “my collections” area

In some cases, every card from the expansions I’ve purchased completed like; Curse of Naxxramas, Blackrock Mountain, League of Explorers require me to re-craft them as it’s currently showing that I own none of them

Here are screenshots of all the neutral cards from the Curse of Naxxramas and Blackrock Mountain expansions:

Cards missing are from the wild set’s of

  • Hall of fame
  • Naxxramas
  • Goblins vs Gnomes
  • Blackrock mountain
  • Grand Tournament
    (I had a majority but not all of the Grand tournament, yet the game says I own none)
  • League of explorers

Noticeable missing neutral cards include but not limited to the meme trio

  1. Lorewalker cho
  2. Millhouse manastorm (golden)
  3. Nat pagle

That’s weird, because nobody on this forum can help you. In fact, nobody here on this forum can even access account data to check in your history what happened.

I guess that either you or the support employee misunderstood something somewhere in the communication. For account issues, customer support is the correct, and even the only department that can help you.

Oh I thought this was the place the GM was referring too

Describe the situation so our developers will be able to look and understand the situation in its entirety. I have checked along with my colleagues to see if their alternate accounts have the same issue, but unfortunately, our Emperors are still intact.

As you say you need to re-craft cards, it is likely that they were disenchanted.

Unfortunately even Blizzard would not have records going 4 years back.

Apparently so.
That doesn’t change the fact that this is not the correct place for the report. The GM must have been mistaken.

This forum is for QA staff (“testers”) and developers, to check for issues that affect multiple accounts. Their task is not to fix the accounts, but fix the underlying issue. So if, for example, a patch suddenly causes Artificial Intellect to draw 20 cards instead of 2, the reports here would alert QA and devs to the issue and they would quickly start to check what causes it and fix it, so that it doesn’t happen again in the future.

If, as Fuschia seems to assume, you disenchanted the card, then there is no issue; you’ll simply need to re-craft them if you want to use them.

If you’re sure you didn’t, and if you double checked that you (1) logged on with the correct email, (2) on the same region, and (3) nobody else could have had access to your account, then this is definitely an issue for customer support. The GM who told you to go here must have been mistaken.

Dude, I have the same problem! All of my cards from Naxx, Blackrock mountain, League of explorers have disappeared! Also the adventures themselve! I need to purchase them again? Wtf, Blizzard

they may have been moved to your wild collection. how long have you been away from the game?

I know this is an ancient thread, but your post is recent and I also am missing all my cards from the Wild Years 1 & 2 expansions so:

  • Naxxramas (adventure)
  • Goblins vs Gnomes
  • Blackrock Mountain (adventure)
  • The Grand Tournament
  • The League of Explorers (adventure)

Later expansions from Year of the Kraken and the classic set seem unaffected. And for me at least the adventures themselves show as owned in the shop and I see in solo play that all wings and class challenges are completed and rewards chests show as opened.

Did you manage to resolve this issue somehow? Same question to OP if he’s still around!
