Missing Cards from Collection

Hello,

I am reporting a critical issue with missing cards from my Hearthstone collection. I primarily play Wild, and several of my Wild decks now show cards as missing, even though I never disenchanted them and received no dust compensation. These decks were fully playable and used regularly.

I contacted Blizzard Support, submitted evidence, and was told the cards “don’t appear in my history.” That is not true, as I have screenshots of these cards within my Wild decks, proving ownership. This may be a database error or logging failure.

Missing Cards

  • Plagued Grain
  • Corpse Bride
  • Sylvanas Windrunner
  • The Scourge
  • Babbling Book
  • Stargazer Luna
  • Baron Geddon

I was advised to submit this bug report. I believe there may be an underlying issue causing these cards to disappear from accounts — and the support team appears unable to access or verify deeper logs.

To be clear:

  • These were Wild-legal cards in Wild decks.
  • I did not disenchant them.
  • I received no dust or warning.
  • They simply vanished, breaking my decks.

Please investigate this, as I believe this may be affecting more players than just myself. If needed, I can provide screenshots showing these cards in my decks before they vanished.

Thank you for your time.

Did you ever actually craft these cards?

Because the cards you mentioned were core cards until a while ago. They got replaced with a different core set.

yes we know that these cards are gone. you know it too because they were temporary free cards. did you just forget that they were temporary?

Those were Core cards. Do you know what the Core set is?

It is a large group of cards that Blizzard loans to everyone for free.

But you do not own these cards – they are only a temporary loan. Every year Blizzard updates the Core set to keep it fresh, removing some cards and adding others.

This is what happened to those cards you listed. They were part of the Core set, but then Blizzard decided to remove them.
