Greetings, i couldn’t find that topic so sorry if there was a solution and i missed it. After premiere of the expansion i noticed i missing kinda few cards. Yesterday ( 20.03.2024) i wanted to play druid in the wild and i saw it missing two cards " Nourish" and " Kiri". First i thought maybe it’s one-time bug, happens. I crafted missing cards but today(21.03.2024) i wanted to play duels ( while i still can) and i saw when i chose Turalyon that i don’t have " Lothraxion" when i had him in normal and golden and now i don’t have any. I don’t know how much cards i missing wich i had. I never disenchanting, and when i doing that - i using in-game option for duplicates. Is there any answer because now i missing kinda few cards and not dust from them. Best regards and sorry for my English but i hope everything is understandable.
core set rotation, it happens every year
Both of those cards were core cards.
Core cards are a set of cards every player has so they don’t have to open packs and can start right away.
Once a year this set of cards changes. Some cards remain and others are replaced.

If you yourself never got those 2 cards from packs or crafted them yourself then you never owned them. They were just in your collection as part of the core set.
So cards that were also in expansions, they were taken away as well? For example: Shard of the Naaru is in CORE but it is also in UNITED IN STORMWIND. So what happens if you craft it? In a year from now since it is still a “Core” card, doesn’t it get taken away again? Also what happens if you have 2 Core cards which are also in an expansion deck you added and then the expansion deck adds 2 more of the same card. So now you have 4 cards that are the same. So you disenchant 2 of them. Do the core cards get disenchanted or more likely the 2 new expansion deck cards leaving you with the 2 core cards that are going to be taken away in a year?
No.
The Core version was taken away, but if you owned the original United in Stormwind version of it, then you still own it. It is still in your collection.
If you own that card but have a deck where it is missing, then that means the deck had the Core version. Simply edit the deck, remove the Core version of the card, and add the original expansion version.
you cant disenchant core set cards
Okay so I have a deathknight deck that is missing core cards as well, now my deck says its missing cards that I had in past (I’m a returning player only been gone for a year) but if I got those core cards from expansion packs why did they get taken from me and now I have to create them again every year?
Okay heres bottom line I paid for past exspansion sets so I paid for the cards so why should i have to craft them all over again?
That is not possible
CORE cards cannot be obtained from packs, they are granted for free as long as they are part of the core set
When they are no longer part of the core set, they are replaced by other cards, granted for free
What cards are you missing ?
When you build or edit a deck, the deckbuilder interface strongly prefers to use core versions of cards if possible, even if you own the original version.
Then if those cards rotate out of core, they will be missing from the deck, because they were the core specific versions.
In that case all you have to do is edit the deck, remove the now-missing core cards, and replace them with the original versions. The game will not do this step for you.
Ive tried that and even looked up the card but its only available in the arcane dust menu. Lesson learned I just won’t buy any expansion pack bundles like I did in the past, I pre ordered then day of release opened all my packs and assumed they where mine when I opened them but I see that they changed it 
One last question @shuteye. If I buy a tavern pass that gets me all the top rewards on the rewards tracker, those are safe as in permanently mine?
Ah so that I did not know I’m not sure when it changed probably while back and I have been gone so I didn’t know ;(
Core set has been introduced in 2021 
Core set rotation has been a thing since 2022
Since 2021 you stil lhave access to (roughly) the same amount of free core set cards, but some have been replaced by others yearly
Any card that you open from a pack is indeed yours forever.
I can only assume that you have misremembered that a card came from a pack when actually it came from core.
Yes, I believe so. Any card that you actually purchase or open from a pack is yours to keep.

Have you checked that your collection filter was set on the right expansion ?

I have just purchased the Arthas Path Series - Bloody Arthas for 2000 gold.
Unfortunately all the cards are not visible in my collection at all,
for example card like “Patchwerk” and the rest from Bloody Arthas series.
The path or Arthas and Death Knight Prologue are extremely missleading
The visuals of the deatrh knight prologue are outdated
Patchwerk and some other legendaries were part of the core set and got rotated out. They’ve been replaced by other legendaries. Note that cards from the prologue were free.
Some cards from the Path of Arthas are no longer legal in standard mode.
Some other cads from the Path of Arthas, like the Scourge and Frostmourne, are currently in the core set, which means they are free for every one
If you only play in standard, buying the DK mini-set will give you 0 new legendary, as 1 is wild exclusive and 2 are already available for free
That’s because Patchwerk was NOT part of the Path of Arthas mini-set.
It is a Core card that was introduced at the same time as the mini-set, so some people mistakenly thought it was part of the set.
It has since been removed from the Core set, so that explains why it is missing from your collection. You did not buy it, or craft it, or open it from a pack. It was only on loan as part of the Core set.
