Missing cards, after Cataclysm launch

As of Launch today, I’ve found that I’m missing cards from my collection that have been there since their sets have launched.

Priest: Thrive in Shadows
Mage: Firelands Portal
Mage: Kalecgos

just magically Vanished, I would like them back, as I used them in Wild decks, and I would never have dusted them.

Who knows what else I’m missing, these just happened to be in decks so I noticed.

I think those cards rotated from core set. For example thrive in shadows moved from core to Legacy, i had to craft it so i could use it again.

My point is… I had them before they “rotated to core” why did I lose them, and have to recraft, if I never dusted in the first place. The stole my cards.

I got the same issue.
Mage: Kalecgos
Rogue: Tess Greymane
Priest: Madame Lazule

missing from my collection, while they existed before.
Also whenever I reload the game my decks show as if more cards are missing, but I have them in my collection

Odd… I still have my Tess Greymane.

Thrive in shadows was a core set card so no one actually owned it. Now the card is in legacy set so you have to craft it or get it from wild pack to use it again. Im not sure about the other cards tho.

ok, fine I can replace those cards in the deck… but I want my Fireland Portals, and Kalecgos back.

Fireland Portal, was from “One Night in Karazhan”, which wasn’t packs, it was an adventure you bought.

Kalecgos was from Rise of Shadows, and had been in my “Big spell mage” since I pulled it.

Check those sets in particular, in your decks, you probably need to manually replace them with the versions from their original sets.

Ok, thank you, this is exactly the issue. I still have my original ones, they were some how replaced with the “Core set” variants.

I lost my Diamond Deathbringer Saurfang though. I am pretty sure I’m not supposed to lose Diamond cards in rotation.

I have the same problem as Acanarina and a few others who write around. You mention one card. For example, most of my cards from Caverns and others disappeared and they were not in the Core set.

They mention one card because that’s what OP mentionned, and it applies to all the other that OP mentionned
This very thread does not start with a bug, just someone unaware of the core set’s behavior

Any names ?

Was your Tess Greymane part of a deck you had already created? Because I had that card in an existing deck and it’s missing now. As well as a bunch of other cards both part of and NOT part of the Raptor core cards. So yeah, there’s a problem with the system Blizzard has in place to remove core cards from decks when the year changes. This is NOT the first time this has happened to me. Where cards go missing even though I had them from when they were first released, and not ever part of any core set.

I have the same issue on some of the decks, the cards are shown as missing. When you try to craft them you cannot, because it shows that you have in your collection… so you have to remove it from the deck and re-add it again… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
I don’t know what to say… I’m so disapointed at this moment from this company…

My friend, did you try to remove the card from the deck and find it again in your collection and re-added, this was the issue with my decks… it’s a bug anyway…

Yes, this is also true for me and I can fix those in my decks. I CANNOT fix a card that has been REMOVED from my collection, I would have to create it again. Lego cards are NOT cheap! 1600 dust to create a lego card I already had BEFORE the core sets were ever created is just ridiculous!

And do these missing cards not from the core set have names ?

Tess Greymane - NOT part of the core set anyway, but still missing

Crusader Aura - again NOT part of the core set

Gnomelia, Safe Pilot - NOT part of the core set

Underlight Angling Rod - ^

All these cards are missing from my collection. And these are just the obvious ones since they were part of my existing decks.

lmao

Tess, Gnomelia and the rod were all core last year. If you didn’t have their original versions its only normal you miss them now.

Crusader Aura not only was core last year but it was created FOR the core set back in 2023. You cannot have owned this card ever before today.

THIS is the post I used to say they were not part of the core set

That’s very interesting because I used the “Raptor Core Set Update” to determine whether or not my missing cards were part of the core…..so why are there differences btw the Raptor page and the Scarab page? I would post the link but it won’t let me.
