I had a WILD deck made and i had Vanessa Vancleef in it. i went to use the deck and it said that i was missing that card when it was in the deck. i went to remove it from my deck and re add it, the game is saying its not in my library.
Did you craft Vanessa? Since she was removed from core she got moved to the legacy set and is now only available if you craft her for 1600 dust.
not that i can recall. i had her for so long. but for it to just up a get removed…
how is that fair now

Before the core set, you had to buy packs for the basic set, but now we get free core set cards, i prefer it this way

That’s how the core set works. It was introduced with the Barrens expansion 3 years ago. Every year we get a huge collection of cards for free. Most of them are based on actual cards from sets from the past.
Some of them are completely invented cards they created just for the core set. When those rotate out of the core set, they are moved to the legacy set and must be crafted. They were given for free to begin with, so when you lose them, it’s not like you actually lose anything. You only have to spend if you want to keep them for free forever.
I agree it would be nice to automatically be able to keep them, but this is the way that it is and in my opinion it’s quite fair.
I have a similar problem. It seems that when searching the removed cards and having them on display while removing them from the deck, you don’t lose the cards. But when you simply remove them from the deck they are lost and can only be crafted again. These cards also show the tag “UNKNOWN”, “will be unlocked at level x”.
