in a game against a priest where the aman’thul was on board and had expended 2 abilities (it also had 1 grave rune buff)… in one turn, the aman’thul’s final ability copied one of my minions (irrelevant?) and then a mirage caller copied the newly expended aman’tul creating a 1/1 with no abilities left … however, it also was not treated like it was newly summoned with the green sleepy “zzz” on it … it was treated like it had not taken an action/had rush and he was able to attack with the 1/1 immediately, kiling it off and creating 2 more full abilitied aman’thuls … this seems like a major oversight that a copied ability’less titan is essentially treated like a rush/charge minion instead of a normally … no other kinds of minions get to attack as soon as they are summoned … i would ask that this please get patched … thank you
Well, maybe it did actually have rush? There are plenty of ways to give a minion rush.
Do you have a game replay recording available? Without that, we can only guess that there is no bug and the minion did, somehow, have rush.
are you a dev or a bystander? if you’re not a dev, i don’t need to provide you with anymore than the testimony i’ve given for other bugs, which is as accurate and honest as i can, and which i know has been utilized to fix other bugs as many bugs i’ve reported have been fixed … there were no other buffs on the aman’thul … no brooms played or any other rush effects … what i stated is how it happened … i missed a whole round of play because i began to type up the situation and i grabbed a screenshot immediately following … there’s nothing special about the 3 other minions on board … the 1/1 aman’thul was able to attack as soon as it was summoned right after (the same turn) the 3/10 aman’thul spent it’s last ability … titans don’t come on board with “summoning sickness” and this one was treated like a spent titan that did not utilize an ability that turn instead of a titan that had used an ability that turn, and “in turn”, was treated like it had rush/charge … in other words, like it had not already acted that turn and could thus act with only remaining ability it had – attacking … i don’t think this case happens often, but when it does, i don’t believe titans ought to be treated like rush/charge minions … so unless a blue wants to specify this is not a bug, i hold that it is
It is possible that Titans have inherent rush, since they use an ability instead of attacking and can use an ability straight away.
Titans have charge
You can freeze them to stop an ability use
Or
You can give it windfury to use 2 abilities
Amanthul is working as intended
Charge has been confirmed by several videos
If you give a titan mega windfury it can use its 3 abilities AND attack the turn it is played
If you then copy the titan, the copy can face 4 times
I can confirm, titans have innate Charge. This has been confirmed by devs on release of the set.
It also makes sense, because otherwise they would not be able to use an ability the turn they are summoned. (Remember, using an ability comes in place of attacking, so without Charge, they would have no attack on summon, and hence not be able to use an ability.
alright i guess this thread can be closed then … seems like it should at least be a tooltip on the titans to specify that they have this special form of charge
Or you can just learn how the game works before posting worthless posts on the bug report forums
