No elemental mage is not coming back.

People Will slot the 2 mana draw almost everywhere and call it a day.
That because the other cards for mage suck and the one card to glue in a supposed fire deck blasteroid is a literal piece of junk.

So you really aren’t playing a fire deck.

Like…

Soulfire is a literal 1 mana card that does not need a specific card to Discard and is a classic.

Glad they put the imbue battlecry on the only draenei released in half a year. That will really help out draenei warrior.

Elemental mage only worked because you could turn it into a combo deck with the spell damage elemental + repeato elemental (prior to the lamplighter nerf at least)… That hasn’t come back. Elementals are far too slow otherwise but as an elemental deck fan it wont stop me from trying.

The 3 mana card will definitely be interesting in no minion burn mage though.

Ooph. Those new hunter cards seem mean in imbue hunter. Can’t wait for the otk from multiple king plush and or goldrins. Magma Hound is similarly a lot of damage from hand for cheap after a few imbues.

Umm. Sherzin was absolutely good in its day.

Not great, but definitely saw play in meta decks.

Exactly, that was one of the missing pieces we lacked to make elemental fire mage work again, but I’m still worried about the lack of the final piece - nothing can come close to the 4 mana fill a board with elementals card we lost with rotation

It’s just impossible to extract any value from the 6 mana legendary without a cheap, spammable elemental (we need at least a 1 mana Echo elemental for this to work, somehow I doubt it will work if we simply keep the 1 mana 1/2 ones for a combo)
