The miniset being a bit too powerful is ok because it means the awesome StarCraft voice lines are played in the future decks too. The next set needs to be low power for this to happen
Wow: being happy for someone’s death and then wishing it to someone else. You have to get your priorities straight, if you don’t want to be hated.
We only got the first balance patch today, and it wasn’t a big patch (it’s mostly BG changes). The miniset is still new.
Put the two together and it’s understandable that the new cards haven’t been refined (nerfed) properly and that a lot of people are just enjoying the new toy. Thus they see much more play.
If you miss the old cards, do what I do and run homebrew deck with those cards. Don’t fuss over having a lower WR or rank.
As for themes like starships (without terran) and draenei… I think the former could come back if the starcraft stuff gets balanced (nerfed) some, and it’s not like arkonite defense crystal isn’t still a very good starship piece. Draenei would take more than a miniset to fix… and I’m not sure what the fix is.

Who would have though. The creators new set is better than its previous set. It’s almost like that’s how CCG’s have been since their inception.
