Did the mini-set change anything at all? I’m pretty much seeing the same decks prior to the mini-set’s release and maybe 1 or 2 cards from the mini-set mixed in here or there
You fool…prepare for the flood of complaints
Not only that.
The dragon is everywhere , if mage was a class it would be using the new draw.
The metagame changed a lot and by a lot i mean with actual decks we did not see before the mini set.
Not only that but whisp is somehow a meta contender now being run in many decks.
lol Im used to it by now. Besides that’s hunter already needed nerfing so to me nothing really changed for it in that regard (still needs nerfing is what I’m saying)
The 4 mana 2/2 elemental from miniset has brought cycle rogue back to life
I mean that one card that casts 20 fire spells is being used everywhere as a mainstream card and while its hard to say if its improved say imbue druids winrate it definitely brought that classes playrate up… same with rogue. Forgot to mention the druid legend location definitely has impacted druid as well.
As far as for the gimmick meta (read uncompetitive decks) that one 3 mana draw 2 imbue card has made its way into a few of the awful imbue decks I run and made them slightly better.
Same for the 2 mana 2/2 neutral draw a fire spell elemental and my fire mage deck. The 3/2 shaman dragon made its way into my menagerie shaman deck and I’m liking it.
I mean there arent many cards in the miniset anyway and this previous expansion was pretty underwhelming to begin with but I think its making a bit of an impact. Mabye not quite as profound as when they released the miniset that unleashed mana cheat mage… but then again there is imbue hunter.
The (non-hunter) Imbues are slightly better now but not hugely, because draw is good if you need it but it did not produce any new combo. I predicted the duplication of King Plush would be a big combo and people laughed.
Imbue Hunter in, Paladin out
Imbue Druid 5x more popular, Hunter 10x more popular, the rest is the same
???
