Mindrender Illucia is good again!

Just watched Dane’s newest vid on Harvester Thief Priest and the combo with The Harvester of Envy and Illucia, absolutely great at stealing cards from the opponent’s hand with little consequence. The mana cost for it is a bit steep but the value of always nabbing a potential kill condition from the opponent is great

I don’t see how that would do anything too useful. Illucia= 3 mana and Harvester = 3 mana, so to actually play their copy to steal it you’d only be able to grab something 4 mana or less. Win condition right now is pretty much Denathrius, so yeah maybe you can steal brann but even then…

Identity theft would help to get denathrius from them but Harvester would have to live until next turn to play denathrius and steal it. I don’t see this happening very often.

And if you copy Denathrius, you have to play that copy before they infuse it further, because each infusion step is a different card.

Yeah…Theotar is just like 10x better at doing the same thing.

You have to play the card before they do to steal it. Theotar doesn’t require anything like that and no setup.

What you do is play Emporer Thaurissan first. Have it live for 3 turns and then you play 0 mana Harvester and Ilucia because you know the opponent is going to let you derp around doing nothing in the meantime to get your shenanigans ready. Sounds like the perfect Priest plan. Perfectly fits the derp around doing nothing until you explode and complain that Priest is bad plan.

Lol i was reading that and thinking ‘Emperor Thaurissan in this economy?’ Then I read the rest :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

is easier to keep envy into your deck using finley until you can play azalina then dredge it
