Don’t know whether you mean this deck.
But it works pretty well against most decks in Wild, excluding Aggro KB Rogue.
Jade Druid also folds to a dozen N’Zoths. Sooner or later.
I was looking for a mill deck without Nzoth but a deck which wants to win specifically by dealing lethal damage via fatigue. But thx anyway
Well. That is one of the win-conditions.
The issue is that you will not survive any remotely aggressive decks without playing defensive cards.
It is a combo deck, afterall.
Why not replacing Mistress of Mixtures with
Explosive Sheep against aggro and replacing Sludge Belcher with Rotten Applebaum for healing?
Because Sludge Belcher is literally one of the best taunts in the game.
It blocks at least 2 attacks, which slows down the game far more than Applebaum.
Explosive Sheep makes your N’Zoth boards far more frail.
Rezzing two Mistresses is almost always better than rezzing two Explosive Sheeps.
It is also a great 1-drop, which does what Applebaum should do. But earlier.
Your enemies lifetotal is only relevant when you need to set up an otk, because of too much pressure or milling N’Zoth.
Betrayal is a tech against aggro, and two doomsayers should be enough.
You cannot tech vs everything.
If you had Zilliax in this deck you could magnetize it on Explosive Sheep and you have mass removal and mass healing.
That sounds too unreliable.
It could work in other decks, perhaps.
Too specific.
Hoping to get a two card, seven mana combo that can get hexed/silenced and worsens your rezzpool does not really play into this deck’s gameplan.
Shaman runs devolve, hex and earthen shock.
Mage runs polymorph, and often has Kazakus.
Warrior runs at least one silence, and unless it is Pirate Warrior ( at which point one doomsayer is already better), you won’t get mileage out of it.
Priest has scream, silence and occasionally Kazakus.
Seven mana does not work against aggro, unless you play Warrior or Reno decks.
Nice some Mill Rogue players.
So how does Mill Rogue do vs Wild Big Priest, Bloomlock, and Conj-Mage?
Does Mill Rogue actually get to deal lethal damage, or does Mill Rogue get out-spiked around turn-4/5/6 with those big bad mana cheating cards Big Priest, Bloom, and Conj-Mage use?
Obvi Mill Rogue is designed to beat up on ‘normal control’ and ‘combo control’ decks, but nobody bothers to play those / can play those since mid-game-mana cheat like Big Priest, Bloom, and Conj-Mage dominate the game and deliver lethal way before some slow deck does.
If Mill Rogue can’t beat Big Priest, Bloomlock hitting it’s 3 card, and Conj-Mage on the regular it’s a worthless deck.
Depends.
Rezz Priest can almost always be beaten.
You need to play perfectly, though.
Mill Rogue is extremely technical, and taking 20 damage is often a prerequisite to have a chance to win.
BloomLock… if they do not highroll turn 3 or 4, you have a chance.
Later on, you win.
Conj. Mage… I have honestly not seen alot in Wild, yet. Though it should be similar to BP, unless they run a burn-version.
From my experience playing mill rogue i dont remember losing vs big priest or any control deck. (Maybe lost a few) Idk about conj or darkest hour but any deck that is slow will lose to mill rogue because rogue has good ways to delay the game until they do the fatigue lethal. I lost a lot of games to aggro tho
But there are exceptions such as jade shuffling and benedictus
Thanks and yep, the big bad problem with mill rogue is…
Bloomlock hitting all 3 by turn-7 is game over. done. no chance, vanish and/or prep are disrupted.
Big Priest probably has a decent or good shot vs mill rogue.
Conj Mage may not have much a shot, but I they somehow manage to get giants time warp down it’s probably gg.
Specifically how does Mill Rogue beat Res Priest?
Yea, sap the Barnes token, but what are the specific game-winning plays a Mill Rogue makes vs Res-on-repeat Priest?
Win condition is the Mrglglrl
Milling their tools and minions.
The timing is really difficult to find, if they coin out Barnes.
I don’t know.
Beyond bricked draws, I usually do not have any issue beating Big Priest.
Its all a big gamble, really.
