I’m not a full-on control Warrior player, and I don’t even have a true control deck like we had back in the old days of Hearthstone. Trying to play a slower deck like midrange or control just feels worthless now. Hearthstone today is almost entirely combo, aggro, or OTK (one-turn-kill) decks.
It feels like Blizzard wants every match to be over before you even get the chance to do anything. It’s just rise and repeat — fast games to rack up hours and finish quests in an attempt to rebuild the player base, but it’s not working. They keep losing players.
If they want to bring more people back, they should make Hearthstone a fun CCG again — not a frustrating experience where you can’t do anything but sit back and watch your health go from 30 to 0 in the blink of an eye. That’s not good gameplay, and it’s the kind of thing that makes people quit when they stop enjoying the game.
Mana cheating decks are midrange decks. You liking or not.

yeah but seem like old mid-range decks it like everything ether mana cheating or power-creep and it feel blizzard going wrong way this.
Of course.
Time passes. You not gonna play card by card paying Full price anymore.
And It wasn’t even that Fun to start with.
so you did not like game last past 10 turns or maybe more or closed to it not turn 6 or 5 your dead becuase they cheat out 16 mana on turn 4 or 5.
Yes.
The game when played on board makes status matter.
Sea chanty is a little overtuned but i can see other nerfs too.
Just to start i never understood why drinks have spell schools.
They where supposed to be Just drinks. Not a Magic tool.
Still not want to back to playing card by card from hand and most of who say otherwise would quit in less than a week If blizzard done that.
I spent several hours to win 5 games bc my opponents were: control warlock, control DK, control warlock, control DK, etc – and it was very boring – and these matchups are unfavored for my Ashamane rogue – and then I go online to read something and read this.
It is probably possible to say that warlock is combo, but I usually concede before the wheel turn, so there’s no difference for me.
Btw Ashamane rogue is midrange as it should be: sometimes you can start as an aggro deck, sometimes you should be ready for the long game, etc.

After a few hours I suddenly met a priest!
Control priest, without dragons.
Directed by Robert B. Weide.
Old midrange at least as it used to be is gone, and if control as it is today is gone…this is great for the game.
Combo = OTK
And midrange decks are perfectly fine, much stronger than aggro in this meta
Average turns per win is higher for almost 2.0 than it was before the rotation, which is only logical. Part of that is intentionally done through new cards, and part of it is a result of lacking synergies and worse decks in overall.
I’m trying to find anything truthful and reply-worthy in the rest of your OP, but I’m afraid it’s impossible.
If we go to the last VS report and look at the Legend stats (not top legend), we see that the tier 1 decks are Drunk Paladin, Handbuff DK and Cliff Dive DH: all mid-range decks. At top legend we also have Starship and Wheel Warlock, which are both control decks. At D4-D1 we we have some aggro sprinkled in and a combo deck (Zarimi Priest).
So no, control and mid-range are not dead.
