Mercenary heroes don't max their lvl

In mercenary mode, some maxed out characters don’t get max level, +1/+5 stats, and their coins can’t be exchanged

See this thread: Mercenaries max stat. Apparently, you’re another one of those afflicted.

Same issue here.
Seems to me that chars that reached max lvl in previous editions were not updated.
