Is Valeera’s Sinister Strike ability supposed to bypass taunt?
Gain +X Attack this turn and Attack the lowest Health enemy. Combo: Gain Stealth.
It’s an Attack ability, so I was surprised that it bypasses taunt, even though it says “the lowest health enemy”.
If the attack says it so it can bypass.
Yes.
And that’s what it does.
“Attack a random enemy” (e.g. Sneed’s Activate Saw) seems to be a counterexample – it isn’t random when there is a Taunt enemy.
Yes, it generally respects Taunt (except for one bugged enemy, perhaps — the Frostwolf Legionnaire, I don’t rightly remember), unlike specific attacks, which makes sense and has been consistent.
