Mercenaries Upgraded Equipment does not work

I have upgraded some of my Mercenaries’ Equipment but the effect is still as if it lvl 4 when I enter a Bountie.
One of the Mercenaries Equipment I have upgraded is Ragnaros’ Blazing Rune to lvl 11 so Ragnaros would give +10 Fire Damage, but when I am in a Bountie Ragnaros only gives +3 Fire Damage, the same amount as if Blazing Rune was lvl 4 not lvl 11.
I don’t understand why it is not working can anyone tell me.

I’m having the same problem but with Millhouse Manastorm’s abilities. I tried to open a ticket but they just brushed me off saying it was a bug and refused to help. Maybe if enough people say something they’ll fix it?

if your upgrading with the renown they don’t work in bounty or arena only in that infinite endgame mode

For regular bounty missions, abilities are capped at rank 5 and equipment is capped at rank 4.

Upgrades beyond that are only enabled in Boss Rush missions.
