You are being dogmatic. The Devs can do stupid mistakes too and your only position on your last 2 posts is “BUT THE DEVS SAID”.
PS I retracted on later replies the “the devs didn’t say it”(I just couldn’t easily google it (mainly because they hid it at the end of a long post of theirs)).
Continue to call me dogmatic. I’m just stating the facts, you’re just in denial that they will at some point do an update, when there not going to.
Mercenaries was dead way before the last update.
Maybe because it had stupid Dev decisions, like 50% of your time waiting on loading screens when they could just have a mega screen scrolling-up instantly.
But continue with your “but the devs stated”.
It would be stupid if the mode was still being supported. But it’s not. The expectation that you have that Blizzard should support a mode that clearly had the least player engagement out of all modes, when they made an Official announcement that they will no longer update it, is an unrealistic one.
Trust me, I understand your frustration. But the reality is you’re probably one of maybe 10 people that still play that mode. Blizzard is not going to waste resources in a mode that is dead.
So you’re only option is to either accept it or not, but regardless of which, it’s not going to make Blizzard change their stance on mercenaries.
It’s a shame because I genuinely liked that mode initially, until it became apparent that it was an unfinished product that was pushed to fast without the proper support after it launched.
So again, I’m not trying to burst your bubble, just simply being realistic about the fact that mercenaries is dead.
it’s annoying, I don’t see why bots can’t play against you in this mode if you don’t have an opponent and a number of bots are playing against me, I don’t have a problem with that, but stop matching the same OP opponent
Mercenaries is a dead game mode, like duels and eventually all of HS.
Duels was removed. “Dead” game mode means it’s still in game but hardly anyone plays it.
And they don’t balance it or print new cards. It’s dead. The only reason it is still available to play is because it’s another cash grab. That’s all that modern Blizzard is sadly.
