Hello, I’m unable to use Gift of N’Zoth ability of the N’Zoth mercenary.
It requires a target, but does not allow me to drag the ability to the target to select the target.
Actually it looks like it only works on summoned minions, not on any PvE mercenaries.
Also N’Zoth task 2 (use Gift of N’Zoth 5 times) seem so give credit for using Spawn of N’Zoth
Also N’Zoth task 3 (use Viscera) gives credit for using the first ability Spawn of N’Zoth

‘Minions’ (in a particular sense… Sometimes it is used in a broader sense, including also mercenaries, which is very confusing) and ‘mercenaries’ are distinct types of units, and some abilities which require a specific type of target, the description usually including a specific wording, do not work on a wrong type.
As a sidenote, the aforementioned ability would have been quite overpowered if it could take over actual mercenaries, breaking all the balance in PvP and ruining also the PvE. I believe there still might be encounters where it could be used, since some bosses have ‘minions’ with them, but I’ve not really looked into it in detail.
I’m not sure if that’s actually the case.
Thanks for clearing this up. I just started using N’Zoth today and was confused why this ability didn’t seem to be working. I didn’t realize the “minions” distinction since I think of them as anything you play onto the board.
I thought it was going to be a really powerful ability but it appears it’s just “meh”.

That works, thanks for the tip! I completed tasks 1-3 just by using the first ability. (Spawn)
