Experiencing an issue where the first task for the tutorial in Mercenaries, “Tutorial 1: What a Boar”, can’t be completed. Clicking the claim button gives me an error message saying “There was an error claiming your task, please try again later”. Restarting the game, logging out and back in, and just waiting doesn’t change this.

I am having this issue too, Blizzard support asked me to try on another client, either a smartphone or pc, but I am still having this issue across all of my devices. It seems server side?
I am having the same issue. Can’t complete Grom’s tutorial
While this goes on I can’t open any merc packs
Update: It would appear that whatever was causing this is fixed for me now
This is the exact issue I’ve been having as well. Tried from my Android device as well as two different PCs, and even reinstalled the game on one of the PCs. I’ve redone the Ferocious Quillboar bounty at least 5 times in case it was a matter of something registering. Still can’t collect Tutorial 1, which is incredibly annoying as it’s basically locked out any progress I try to make.

Same thing for me here, I have been trying several times and also on multiple devices. Unable to claim them since last night already, at the moment I am unable to properly progress and its really annoying…

Sadly it is not possible to manually grant the rewards from our side at this time. Please report the Bug to our developers, so they can have a look:

Same problem here. So how do we report to the developers?
I’ve had this error as well.
Managed to fix it by taking my first (and only) party and making sure there’d be an open spot, which actually let me complete it and then automatically put the new Merc in the party.

i have a very similar problem - i cannot claim the free travel point (tells me “Purchase Failed”) so there is no way for me to even start “Tutorial 1: What a Boar” (and no way to start any other bounty either ofc)
so my progress on the current “Special Dwarf Skins Legendary Quest Chain” since i need to complete mercenary bounties for that
EDIT:
The Solution of NobleAshkier worked - after creating a party with 1 open spot i was able to claim the free travel point and continue
