Mercenaries: Heroic Ahune first turn

At the beggining of the fight Ahune shall deal 15 damage to all enemiec, then summon shards. Why I got owned like that? My monkey died then Ahune start working fine.

How is the boss using an ability a bug?

He should use another attack at the begging, how can I hit him when he is immortal until he spawn shards?

I still don’t understand. He should start with 2 shards already on the board, and he summons more shards on his first turn. Seems fine to me. If he’s immortal, just pass the turn.

On heroic level he start with 0 shards and on first turn he shall summon shards on whole board but in my case he just start attack my companion turn after turn and I can’t even hit him. When my 1st companion died, he summon shards so it’s bugged.

He is talking about the heroic version of the fight, where the boss starts with no shards in play, and sometimes summons no shards for the entire battle (meaning it is impossible to win, as the boss can only be damaged by destroying shards.)

I think the boss is supposed to summon shards any time that there are no shards on his side of the board (at least that is how it works in the non-heroic version of the battle), so that is why this is a bug report.

This happened to me today too - the boss AI needs a harder hook to spawn new adds when there are none left. It’s basically not complete-able if Ahune decides that it’s time for you to lose.

My experience on heroic is he won’t use his add summon ability if you have a character with the treasure that kills them as they come out. He’ll wait until that character is dead before doing his adds.
