i did it in heroic with mukla, krush, blink fox (3 beasts) and sinestra, alexstrasza and brightwing (3 dragons) but it didnt complete…
is it the same as annointed blades where you need to avoid boons and mystery nodes?..

Just did with 3 beasts no boons and no mistery nodes and the quest did not complete!
This is really frustating blizzard!

You need to have only dragons and beasts on your team, not just 3 beasts.

I think your talking about a different event quest than the original poster, both are bugged, one needs only 3 beasts, i think it is quest 4. the original poster is talking about quest 8, which needs 3 beasts and 3 dragons. according to reddit for the one with 3 beasts the three beasts need to be alive and on your team, bench is ok, at the start of the boss fight. I completed it with 3 beasts alive at the start and end of the boss fight, so I personally can not confirm if it is ok if they die during the boss fight or not.
Task 8: Song of Harmony says: Complete Heroic Lokholar with only Beasts and Dragons in Alterac valley.
You must be referring to an earlier task.
I don’t know why your task didn’t complete if you didn’t use boons or mystery nodes. Usually that works.
Yeah you’re right…but all this quest are similar and have the same bugs
Many Chi-Ji tasks are bugged and it is rather frustrating cause they’re not easy to complete. I would appreciate some response from the devs or an extension of the event

Finally work when i didnt take any boon, mystic crap or spirit healer. Now im doing heroic Balinda which need at least 3 dragon. Finish it with no bon, mystic or spirt and guess what … still not completed.
Had 3 dragons … plus the typical Healing squad to farm that heroic and still didnt work.
Great idea all this task too bad its so bugged you end up hating it.

I perfectly understand people who tried to pass and the quests were not counted. I spent a lot of time to make strong and almost maxed out dragons, beasts and done this quest. I went through the composition of chi-ji + mukla (I advise you not to take a provocation for mukla, it is quite possible that it does not count because of it, it was written about on another forum) + krush + yu-lun + longxin + brightwing. I opened a coin because there was no other way (the quest dropped) The longxin 3 ability helped me a lot in passing to save the brightwing and for additional dps (works great with yu-lun when you just need to survive and heal with the brightwing, the next turn you can kill the green with 1 skill yu-lun or finish off the red with 1 skill of the brightwing). In terms of weapons, I took heal on chi-ji, damage to mukla, damage from nature for yu-lun, health to dragons for long`xin, healing to the brightwing.
Beast talent to kill summoned creatures does not work on boss. The opening was through the beasts because the damage talents for the beasts from the elite battle fell out and managed to kill the boss through the crush after the damage from the chi-ji. Dragons on the boss did not come out (didn’t get a fight to the death)

I just did this using Chi’Ji, Xuen, Mukla, Brightwing, Yu’Lon, and Sinestra, no special nodes at all, didn’t pick up any abilities that summoned anything or used any other abilities that did not come with the chars other then the full heal. Did not get credit.

I have completed the Event#8 quest with King Krush, Mukla, Anacondra, Alexstrasza, Brightwing and Blink Fox:
I didn’t use any Boon Coins or revive nodes, just the WArp portal to the end of the Bounty.
During the final fight I summoned Anacondra’s Beast, but it shouldn’t be a problem.
Have done it 3 times now without the quest being complete.
now I have no idea what to do.
It is difficult and annoying enough as it is
Using any of the mystery coins (even if it is the Warp Portal) causes the quest to bug out and it not count. I joked on reddit about some mercenary quests seemingly being designed by sadists but this makes me wonder. 
I just beat the anointed blades quest on heroic with all casters and it wouldn’t complete for chi-ji quest
I was actually able to complete Nature of the Beast and it gave me credit but the quest is still there…
