I have upgraded abilities from max mercenaries up to level 8 or 9 (anduin - holy nova : deals normally 10 damage,restores 8 or smthing, i upgraded it to deal 30 damage and restore 40) .. and it doesnt work anywhere , not in the fighting pit , not in bounties hunt .. am i missing anything here or it is just a bug ?

For normal content like bounty missions, the cap for upgraded abilities is rank 5 (rank 4 for equipment).
Further upgrades only apply in the mythic boss rush mode.
If you play a boss rush, you will have your super-upgraded abilities.
thank you very much for the help ! i had no clue about this , i was spending resources for nothing haha , i hope tho they will continue to show some support for mercs in the future!
