Mecha'thun win animation not showing

So i was playing a Mecha’thun druid deck in wild and realized that sometimes (not sure in which cases), when the mecha’thun effect activates (last card triggering it is poison seeds) the “destroy the enemy hero” animation doesn’t show, the turn never ends (rope does appear though) but the win does count (i have been able to “solve” the issue by exiting the game and entering again, and the rank gets lower).

Not sure if this is an issue on my end or if it is something that has been happening for a long time, but thought it would be good to report it.

Thank you.

Reporting the same issue. The win seems to count as a win, but my game gets stuck with Mecha’thun at negative HP, as the last minion on my side. For me, the rope never starts, and I can still emote. I can’t concede or end turn. The only way out is to exit the game.

I triggered Mecha’thun using Anka to discount Mecha’thun and Ticking Abomination, then pinged the abomination with any cheap battlecry minion. The play order was Ticking Abomination, Mecha’thun, Field Contact (which had to be played from my hand for me to win) and Filletfighter to ping the abomination. The draw finished and I took fatigue, but the final animation never started, and history bar never resolves the Filletfighter play.

I’ve tried playing Mecha’thun first, then Ticking Abomination, and the bug still happens. I’ve even tried clearing my own board and I’ve gotten the bug to inconsistently happen on an empty board with nothing but Mecha’thun. Rebooting doesn’t fix the issue. This has been happening for multiple days now.

I’m running an AMD 5800x CPU, with a Radeon 6900xt GPU, on the latest version of Windows 10. If someone from the Hearthstone team reaches out, I can provide more detailed information on my setup. I seem to trigger this bug about half the time I play the combo.
