I don’t think mage needs to be nerfed at all and certainly not mech mage. The better players seem to get at the game the worse the deck does. There’s so many decks in this meta that comfortably handle mech mage that nerfing it just seems cruel. In legend ranks it’s a tier 3 deck. In higher diamond ranks it’s got a variant that can barely scrape together a 50% winrate but just barely. If you’re playing something good other than control paladin and playing it well you’re favored against mech mage. It’s not quite Tickatus Warlock level bad (that honor goes to shellfish priest in this meta). It’s this meta’s equivalent to early AV pirate warrior, a deck you stop losing to once you get better at the game (I’d argue that current pirate warrior is the same as it’s ever been but for some reason people still think that’s a good deck).

I honestly thought it’d be more people wanting it nerfed, but um now that I’ve made this I’m just gonna say yep you’re right, not a lot of Mage hate.
I’m okay with mech mage, mecha shark is fine. If mech mage needs a nerf it is card generation ability, not any single card, but that is a general problem with Hearthstone. There only time I’ve found mecha shark feel overpowered is when it generates of a discover many times or procs of mother shark or whatever it is called death rattle. That’s pushing it when they opponent can get 3 to 4 on board at anytime due to all the card and stat generation.
Naga mage is different, it’s definitely an issue at high legend. It can repeatedly pull 19 to 20 plus mana turns after about turn 5 or 6. If ever mana cheating was broken this is it. It’s possible to best this deck, but it’s just ridiculous to play against with almost every turn being roped and your opponent basically having infinite mana and resources per turn.
