Yeah man just have the out

So you can’t bother to cut some subpar cards from your deck and add in tech? K…

Just always have every out to every situation

Every situation? I thought we were only talking about mech rogue? Which is mainly aggro, so guess what?
Control=Rock
Aggro=Scissors
OTK=Paper.

Your response being ‘just have the out’ is a stupid response. If players always had “the out,” games would always go beyond turn 10 with every turn being counterplay. We’re not Yami Yugi with the Millenium Puzzle just making us topdeck every card we need lol

My response was never always have the out, my response was to give yourself the out so that you may beat the deck sometimes, and not lose 100% of the time.

That’s literally not what was said in your response at all but alright

Lol, My very first response was 1 word ONE WORD. STARFISH. It’s not my fault you’re so b*tt hurt over a card game that you can’t objectively look at what people are saying and not be an emotional mess.

People are highly overrating Silences. Play control priest with shards and you quickly see how it’s not the end all answer to these boards.

You can silence the board, but that does absolutely zilch to the magnetic minions coming next turn. It really is more of a temporary solution.

Yeah, but the silence gives a temporary solution so you can stabilize with other things like full board clears, etc. I never said silence was the be all, end all, it’s mainly to get rid of the duplicating. Ultimately it’s a stall until you can get to the permanent solutions.

Also, for a priest, shadow word Ruin is a pretty good counter to the op’s scenario.

The issue is the value though. It’s already duplicated. If you play a 4 mana 2/4 to silence, he is still duplicated and he is still a mech. You lost tempo hard already.

As a Priest player, paying 1 mana for the effect is already hard to squeeze in to keep up tempo, a 4 mana silence is really just a small delay.

My point is that silence that is available is pretty terrible. It should go back to 3 mana at the very least.

Yes, so now think about how Control Priest has 2 silences, 2 4-mana removals and it hard counters them, but still only sits at a 53% win rate against the deck.

Anyone else adding in a 4 mana silence is really not doing much to help their situation.

Running 4 hard counters still only gives you a slight win % over them says a lot. There’s a reason the deck is the top deck right now.

Yeah, it’s the top right “now” but I highly doubt it’s gonna stick, the play pattern for the deck is predictable. It’s only day 2. So it’s hard to say if it’s broken or not. However, if enough people complain about it, it’ll probably be nerfed. Blizz likes to do that.

P.S. If the Rogue doesn’t get Constructor early I feel like the deck is way worse, so if anything making constructor 5 mana will probably beat the “beast” back down.

Starfish is just kind of a bad card. You can maybe run it in E.T.C. but then it probably won’t be available in time versus Mech Rogue.

Toss in a bit of better attitude, and you’re well on your way, sir!

He said Starfish, not “always have an out”.

And this reasoning, your reasoning, is why you will sometimes lose to that mech deck. Can’t win them all, especially those you aren’t ready for ala Starfish.

Attitude has nothing to do with it, and mine wasn’t bad in any case. Interesting choice of pointing out who had an attitude though

His response to these board states was ‘just Starfish them.’ I’ll remember that next time I’m playing Warrior and I need to Brawl them. Just draw the Brawl.

You’re both assuming I don’t run Starfish in either the main or with ETC. That’s what makes the suggestion stupid.
