It’s been 7 months since Voyage to the Sunken City was released and Mech Mage is still ridiculously over tuned. Mecha-Shark still deals too much damage, it’s still way too easy to discover Gaia off Gorillabot/Amalgam, too easy to discount mechs with Seafloor Gateway. It steamrolls way too easily and needs to be brought in line.

EDIT: Had to look at the meta. Apparently, Mech Mage only exists at the bottom of the barrel rankings in Bronze. It virtually disappears after Gold. It’s one of those decks that attracts bad players and only beats bad players.
If you want Mech Mage to be “brought in line” then just rank up. You won’t see it at all. It’s currently in line with bad decks.

You can’t be serious? They literally have only two cards that are worth anything in that deck. The legendary and the missles launcher.
You wanna get mad at Mechs? Play a Pally who know what they’re doing, you’ll quit.

I hate the design of it, especially Gaia and a lot of the other snowball mechanics, but it’s not an overcentralizing deck or anything at the moment. Just a frustrating one to fight.
But all the aggro decks that aren’t hunter/demon hunter/warlock are really struggling right now because it’s so hard to stick a board.
It would appear that UpdateGuy needs to be updated.

You could have protect his feeling by saying that maybe some god-like players played mech mage just to screw with newbs in gold. Well, maybe it will do in bottom legend?

It was a strong deck, even if it wasn’t an outliner, but now with nathria it is non existent.
The powercreep is so fast that I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next expansion implock would cease to exist

Maybe complaining about DK being OP a month beforehand is smarter and attracts more attention.
