Okay, but outside of mathematical proofs or axiomatic truths (like it is impossible to have a married bachelor), nothing can be proven with “absolute” certainty. Which is why nobody is asking for absolute proof. Those who are skeptical of the rigging claim are asking for any evidence that suggests such rigging is more probable to exist than not.
Hell, I’m not even asking for that much. I continue to offer my help in gathering said evidence, provided those who believe it to be rigged work alongside me. After all, if I, somebody who is skeptical of the rigging claim, run an experiment and find no evidence, I highly doubt that my evidence would be accepted by the “hearthstone is rigged” community. Conversely, if I work alongside those who believe it to be rigged and do find evidence that supports the rigging hypothesis, I would hope my history on this forum engaging in these kinds of threads would carry some weight among other skeptics, and perhaps lead them to take these claims more seriously.
Agree with this, they’re running hearthstone, D2, D2, D4, Dim, wow, starcraft, warcraft… probably some other games too and they all help them make money. So Mand, you can’t argue against the statement that blizzard make money.
Which means they want to make money.
Babies sell for money, blizzard want your babies to sell them.
Or are you seriously arguing that blizzard don’t want to make money?
The chips also make people defend blizzard. The way people get implanted is by licking any premium box set. So pretty much everyone who doesn’t believe in rigging licked a box at some point.
Are ppl seriously still living in denial that the game is not rigged? Have you never played any other Activision Blizzard game? In Call of Duty if you slide too much you get matched only with opponents that do the same. And it works the other way around too if you sit in corner all game barely moving, in fact i’m pretty sure they even admitted it at one point that this is how their matchmakings function.
I don’t see any quest shaman with or without 2x Robes of Protection in today’s game. It’s not a deck people are playing in a format where you can put 2x Robes of Protection in your deck in the meta of when this post was made. Totally relevant necro post.
i dont know man something really fishy going on when i face 3 hunter decks in a row that are not even real decks some quest non-meta garbage then a meteor rogue? it does not add up statistically to even face such decks so consistently at diamond 5
at this point i’m even wondering if i’m playing with real humans and not just some AI, considering the questionable decks and the names like “ShinyPants” with default skin and card back
This is my take as well. I never see that card and I do not run robes of protection in any deck.
Was this recently? Because hunter is being played excessively as they work to find optimal builds of the (seemingly for now) strong discover hunter variant. I have seen several today with different cards.
Nothing odd about the meta shifting after a balance pass.
it wasnt discover they had The Food Chain quest, with cards i rarely see such as Deadly Shot, i cant even find decklist for it on any meta site, and this right before the legend push, very suspicious, there is absolutely no way someone gets to diamond 5 with those decks, one of them even concide on turn 4
I played two of those this morning as well, so not like they do not exist.
Again, rank is not important because you are matched by match making rating. In the new system, it is pretty common for poor players to rank up to diamond because they only ever face other poor quality players.
You also do not know who is trying things at rank floors when you play them. I worked on Herren DK all morning with an evolving list because I was at a rank floor and could do it.
I just find it to be mystifying that the first instinct is that someone is out to get you or swindle you. The attachment experts would have a field day with this type of thinking.
People keep saying this, that there’s some monetary interest involved. Yet never do they actually identify it besides “corporations do evil things to make money, this thing is evil, therefore it makes money.” There is just no logic involved.
Even if you presume that it happens, any result on overall player behavior must be zero sum. There are two people per game, you can’t rig it for both of them, whatever your objective might be, at the same time.
Nobody at Blizzard cares about whether you in particular win or lose, make it to Legend, etc. If you don’t someone else does, every single time. So what’s the point, exactly? Pissing off your players? I don’t know about you, but I’ve never felt compelled to rage buy card packs because I lost. Are you doing it now, because of what you think is their scurrilous scheme? I bet not.
If you really think that it’s so obvious that the developers of an entertainment product are lying to you about cheating you out of wins so that you feel bad, and you still keep playing, that means the problem is you and that you deserve all the discomfort you bring upon yourself.
they absolutely do care about your wins and losses, what other proof do you need than their patents they file and their other game CoD, stop coping man
too bad i know how to cheat the system, just went from diamond 10 to legend with 90% winrate
