Marin Weekly Event strats?

Just curious if anyone’s figured out a quick way (Standard or Wild) to burn out all the Marin treasures for the weekly much faster? I don’t really care about winning or losing, Just the quickest method to clear this quest.

I took the default ramp druid deck, removed doomkins; added projectionists/zola; the initial idea was to copy Marin and it has high mana to do it early.

Turns out the deck became better because doomkins are very expensive against fast aggro and the copiers can copy the cheap ramp dragons.

I used the rogue class. Used draw cards to find Marin and then I used things like Brewmaster, Zola, Shadowstep, Breakdance, etc to get more copies of the treasures.

Personally, I didn’t care if I won or lost. I just wanted to get through this nonsense as quick as possible like you. Still took a good couple of hours but got it done. Now to do these coins… -_-

I gave this idea a spin. I saw the deck you posted. I was curious. Pretty funny dropping multiple Matrons with projectionists.

Highlander warrior is what I used. It was super easy compared to that annoying pirate quest. Just stall out the match use brann and you have the potential to use 5-7 trinkets per match.

I used a warrior deck. Mainly because I had a play warrior quest as well. But it worked well.
I made a wild deck, as my rank in wild is very low, then the games are mostly slow.
Used Harbor Scamp to get Marin quickly. I had no other pirate in the deck. Photographer Fizzle, Dead man’s hand, zola, to get extra copies of Marin. Tidepool pupil, Dryscale deputy to get extra copies of the treasures.
I played 9 treasures in one game.

Probably the best strat is to wait until they delete marin from the game and give everyone credit for completing the quest as a result… which they wont do but marin is probably one of the worst cards ever printed in the game and the finest example of card design incompetence.

Oh yeah I used also multiple Nestmatrons with it on the last game. Sometimes I think we fixate too much on netdecks and there might be improvements.

Though I admit I had it against Doomkin from the start because I knew it’s a bad curve when the opponent is fast aggro with a developed board.
