I had 4 wins run before and almost every single game my opponent had him either from draft or from discover mechanics. It’s difficult to play around marin in arena
The way to play around singular broken cards is to throw everything you got at trying to generate or roll them somehow, either by taking all cards in draft that can discover him or high rolling him in the draft.
That said, that is why singular power outliers like him shouldn’t exist, v the entire format will degenerate to just trying to roll him

Arena is hated because it’s the only format in the game that requires construction skills. People are too used to copy pasting netdecks. Most of the “barcoding” claims are obviously false positives; 1/3rd of the time they only see “well… I don’t like their name”; the other 1/3rd is “well …the deck they play is good”(yeah it is (that’s why they win)).
um what does this have to do with marin? also if you play arena enough you know there are people who use premade barcoded decks. also I only play on mobile so I don’t use any third party apps, I just draft for fun.

Most of them false positives. I take notice of the dozens of threads and replies in this forum trying to prove barcoding when they’re asked for evidence. They always have none; it’s either “their name is sus” or “their deck is too good to be true” or both; if the evidence is not firm then the claim is not firm.

I deleted the game today after a match in the arena where the opponent played 4 Rescas from discovery. I’m wondering how they were able to make the arena so much more random than it has been the last three seasons with dual classes. It’s scary to imagine what will happen in the ladder after the expansion is released
