Malygos + Auchenai Soulpriest doesn't apply Spell Damage

Recently played a game of Combo Priest and played the following:

  • Mass Resurrection, summoning Auchenai Soulpriest, Prophet Velen and Malygos.

  • Holy Smite, targeting my opponent, dealing 14 damage. ( (2+5) * 2 = 14 )

  • Regenerate, targeting my opponent, dealing 6 damage. ( 3 * 2 = 6 )

I’ve played this kind of Combo Priest before, and Regenerate should be dealing 16 damage instead of 6, since Malygos’ Spell Damage should apply with Auchenai Soulpriest on the board. ( (3+5) * 2 = 16 )

Healing is not damage. Maligos goesn’t care about it.
