Make every game a big priest

No faster way to destroy the player base than to have every player face endless big priests.

More priest, everyday, all the time.

Priest priest priest.

Also change the draw rules so no 10 drop can enter your hand before turn 7.

Colossals should just be given the rule that you can only control one copy of it on the board at a time, because they’re so big ya know

Its unreal how fast that deck took over as most played for priests.

And here i was playing slow trying to get the Sindragosa step done of the event and i look up and see 5 - 8/8s primed and ready to slap me the next turn.

Was is this Smokescreen Rogue!?

I really hope they don’t make any changes to the game all the way to the next expansion. I don’t think anything else can erode the player base and create more anti-priest sentiment, than a long period of big priest.

A high win rate would push it into the rankings and further increase the spread more than just seeing it in live action.

I have played 7 games this am 5 were big priest 1 was a pally and 1 was a mill druid … yesterday 3 out of 5 games were all big priest. I am stuck at diamond 10 for 4 days because every opponent is either big priest or secret mage. I have tried rotating my decks, I have tried going to play duels. I thought the MMR allowed you a 50 percent win rate. I have litterally won nothing in 4 days. I am going to go look for a new game. I think instead of nerfing the priests they should temporarily ban neptulon from ranked play. Then they will stop playing this stupid deck.

Try mage. I’m having fun with it.

If I exclude the games were I concede on turn 1, I played against 0 priests in the past 2 weeks

The light of wisdom!

I think Neptulon should be nerfed, but I’m sure they won’t bother.

It’s always been played way more than it ever had a right to be. It’s almost like Priest players are drawn to any remotely viable decks that let them put big minions on the board, who’d’ve thought?

With a self-imposed winrate handicap like that, you still manage to get to legend last month, quite impressive.

I didn’t, I am actually not even reaching diamond
I stopped caring about climbing when I realised I forced myself to play good decks just to get extra packs and an epic which I never used due to not being meta.

Apology, i thought i read you getting to legend, must have you confused with another username here.
So that explains it. For the rest of us who enjoy climbing the ladder every month, conceding perfectly winnable game is not an option.

I don’t like mage, and I’m not complaining about anything, go play dark souls.

we on the heartstone forum not ddarksouls

For those of you who are running into Big Priest in Standard, can you explain at what ranks? The deck gets destroyed by practically every deck in the meta except for other Priests lol

The entire concept of the colossal was ill-designed. First of all, when you destroy the main body, the appendages should be instantly destroyed. Second, it should have different rules like it and the appendages can’t be resurrected and all the appendages should only be summoned when played from hand (like there’s a “Battlecry: summon x appendages” implied in every Colossal keyword). It would mean some of them like Gigafin would need to be designed differently but it wouldn’t be so easy to scam.

I’m going to add that to my nerf wishlist.

I can’t say I have faced a refined meta deck in any class for the past few day. priest decks easily punish unrefined lists. you probably won’t face them much in a few more days when players start to change from having fun with the old cards that have been added to the card pool.

p.s. it is lots of fun to be having these longer matches more consistent again.

The whole point of the colossal keyword is to bypass the limits imposed by battlecry.

The simple truth is that summoning a 10 mana minion on turn 4 is probably ending the game if not unanswered, so they could probably start by making sure this doesn’t happen often (hard in wild, easier in standard).

Neptulon is bad and doesn’t need any nerf; if it was good we would see it in many meta decks (I never saw it in any main deck)

This would have been interesting, or also a shared health pool, like ozumat in faelin adventure

This deck isn’t about the competitive edge, it is about another switcharoo deck that either gets its highrolls or concedes.

Nasty fast loss or fast win.

Bad experience to encounter. Don’t actually get a lot of them but you remember it.
